December 2, 20241 yr Author Caff has a PCL.It was his comeback game and now he is out possibly the rest of the year
December 2, 20241 yr Does it guarantee success....absolutely not. Just ask Lamar... 2 time regular season MVP... and his coach who has tenure and considered one of the better coaches. They haven't done squat in the playoffs... nothing is guaranteed. But the grind of the season absolutely builds toward the playoffs.

It's like forced garbage time except the replacements understand it's on them now,not just snaps for snaps sake, but they have to perform. It would be nice to see Shipley take a few reps as you also said. IDK what Ham expects,we're winning games, the young guys are getting better winning and learning as they go. I have no clue how an "offensive genius" would do anything differently. We saw early that Moore was trying to get Hurts to become a better NFL QB and it was failing as evidenced by the league leading picks. Once they resigned themselves to "this is the best Hurts gets" , they stopped trying and yes went back to what Hurts could handle. The results speak for themselves. I would still like Hurts to stop running backwards, with his back to the pursuers and taking sacks. He should stand in or run sideways and throw the ball away. That's only the one beef I have.I resigned myself also to this is the best Hurts gets, but as a team it works. Barkley is such a stud teams can't ignore him.
December 2, 20241 yr Author It's difficult to remember DeJean and Q have never faced the people on the opposing teams. They can watch vids and such, but this is their first time facing all of them. In time they will learn the guys moves they face. This will make them even better as the years go by. "Oh yeah I know how to beat so and so" lol

"Oh yeah I know how to beat so and so" lol Yet they aren't really losing any battles ... and covering some good players. Idk what I could complain about with these 2? It seems it takes either a perfect throw or us playing in a soft zone for a team to complete a pass vs Mitchell... and Dejean may occasionally take a wrong lane vs the run. But these guys are playing difficult positions...almost flawlessly. Remember when Fangio was supposed to be stunting their growth? Do these 2 look like they have any difficulty at all with the mental part of the game? I don't see it.
December 2, 20241 yr That’s a good win for us against a very good Baltimore team…. Might have lucked out some with the Tucker misses but hey that’s part of the game as well and our D kept stopping Baltimore making them turn to JT to kick
December 2, 20241 yr Really only two more big games left for us on the year Washington a 2nd time and then Steelers who have been really good(should be another tough matchup for our O)

Ideally we are only playing starters the last week if it's for the #1 seed. Good thing is last week also has the Detroit vs Minnesota match up. Which means it could be that the winner of that game gets the one seed and we might not have to play the starters. My worst case scenario is having to play the starters the last week and turns out it doesn't matter anyway.

All the whining on here about "Oh Jurgens can't fill Kelce's shoes" I see no downgrade.he is getting the job done and will get better with time. Dickerson playing well. I was concerned about RG,but that was also unfounded. Team looks really good, no collapse, instead we are getting stronger. Getting DSmith back will only enhance this offense and the young defense has impressed me the last few games. The DeJean pancake block on Henry should be an opening vid played on the jumbotron as we come out of the tunnel LOL. I may be forced to buy a DeJean jersey 😁

Would Minnesota get the 1 seed over us if we end up with the same record and they take the division in the final game? Im not sure what the tie breaker is…. Our records are the same we have the same conference record…

December 2, 20241 yr Now as my son said today. It'd be just like the Eagles to find a way to lose to Carolina

Maybe it's just the play calling for instance against Baltimore Barkley got 13 yards on the first carry of the game then didn't see the ball for the rest of the series

Why if it ain't broke do you want to "fix it"?

The QB needs the play call to outsmart the defense with simple reads. In the beginning he has to figure stuff out on his own. You already know he struggles of the first read isn't there.
