Hurts needs to look to the slot which he rarely does,but he needs to trust the guy there.

I've seen DSmith and even AJ play from the slot some,so it's not the position it's the player that Hurts needs to trust. But he can't gain trust by not throwing there. He will find his buddy anywhere on the field. Hurts needs to grow beyond that and hit other people

I liked the addition,I thought he would be excellent in the slot. I was happy,but the issue is Hurts can't do multiple reads. So that 3rd or 4th read is what's holding production back from there

He can also cover out too in the even we are missing AJ or DSmith

With Hurts now throwing alot less and Bark running amok over everyone there won't be alot of production at slot or even TE.. We reduced Hurts back to making his ONE read LOL(see AJ)

I mean we can call plays for the slot which makes that Hurts 1 read. But IMO Hurts needs to be able to check down there if reads 1/2 are gone. One of Hurts shortcomings is that he can't make decisions if read 1 is not there

I used to watch Brady(like everyone else) and he would go through 4-5 reads and find Amendola or Edelman and they both had terrific careers because of it

Wrong…again! The way they reworked the PS rules some years back…PS became much more than just a developmental tool. It’s an asset to the Gameday rosters.

He looks there much much more when he has a capable player there….which about all any QB can really do about it. It’s a GM and maybe a WR development issue. Easiest position on O to acquire…you’d think. But been a big issue. Our HC biggest strength was supposed to be WR whisperer.

Don’t you? I mean nobody else even hardly considers even picking Parris up. Told you I was never on board the plan having him as the answer.

Parris just really has shown so very little to work with though. Not really much to lose if we did turn to a rook.

I like the potential of Dotson because he’s not just a slot option.

Those guys lineup in the Slot and Hurts all the sudden looks there more than one of the outside WR spots. You are going to blame Hurts for having a flaw any which way.
