He can also cover out too in the even we are missing AJ or DSmith

It’s not just for then. Our top two guys can play either. So changing it up just obviously makes us that much more difficult to defend. Especially to predict and anticipate.

I mean we can call plays for the slot which makes that Hurts 1 read. But IMO Hurts needs to be able to check down there if reads 1/2 are gone. One of Hurts shortcomings is that he can't make decisions if read 1 is not there

Just not even an accurate account of what’s taking place on the field.

Calling a crossing pattern with a teammate giving a pick. Whichever player is not picking…but receiving the pick…which player is more likely to get targeted? Playcalling does matter always.

I used to watch Brady(like everyone else) and he would go through 4-5 reads and find Amendola or Edelman and they both had terrific careers because of it

From my viewpoint what Brady did do well was get passes out quick and accurately. That’s exactly how to beat the older D schemes. Heck the new ones still also. Quick little passing to Amendola and Edelman is what I saw as what was his foundational piece.

Anyone see a reason Q can't win ROY? Or at least DROY. He's been terrific out of the gate.

Should be Q in first and DeJean in second right now.

BTW IDK, cannot rest on Carolina, the Bucs barely got by them. We still need to play good mistake free ball and they are playing much better lately. Pitts will be ready too for the battle of the Keystone state

The Steelers I’ve heard from several are a really good team

This is exactly the game we need to push some different things in to progress

At this point that’s the player he is.

At this point we need players that can play not ride pine with big paychecks

Wrong…again! The way they reworked the PS rules some years back…PS became much more than just a developmental tool. It’s an asset to the Gameday rosters.

WRONG, if you need a vet on the PS it's because you are THIN which is what I said

I like the potential of Dotson because he’s not just a slot option.

Right,I already said he can cover playing outside

Those guys lineup in the Slot and Hurts all the sudden looks there more than one of the outside WR spots. You are going to blame Hurts for having a flaw any which way.

Because has has flaws LMAO,the fact you fail to acknowledge them is not my problem

Brady could make 4 reads to Hurts 1

What do we need to push? What progress are you looking for? Why isn't winning the game enough?

Becton stated his career "was reborn in Philly" He is getting the job done without fanfare. He said we renewed his love for the game. Winning tends to do that lol

Yeah…he’s a good player that consistently misses a few games each season.

Yep, you did. I responded to your post first. Then saw you came back and added to it.

At what point can we afford for him to miss games? I mean if we hit the playoffs he may not be there. So IMO we should get his successor on the team through the draft

I do admit and extensively detail good and bad I see in Hurts game. You make sure to ignore anything else possibly going on besides blaming Hurts for. It’s a GM issue very clearly. Had so many guys come through here the last few years at WR. Non developed…not just here…but anywhere.

Calc has played better, but he's no stud TE1

I mean if any if these crappy WR of the dozens we’ve brought in the last few years actually became something elsewhere you could blame Hurts more. But none have done anything…anywhere. When we put AJ or Smitty in the Slot? He throws there. Case closed!
