Plus Saturday being 3 games would be great

LOL, Saquan brings more than just the running... definitely worth the money.  You wanted to pay Sanders... you said he is a "special talent"  He blows.  Chubba Hubbard is much better.   Gainwell is a better NFL RB than Sanders, not close.  You gotta bring more to the table than just first down runs.  Short yardage, pass protection, running a pattern, being able to take on a workload.  Plus the locker room.  When they made the move, you were in doubt... then Howie tampered ...lol

You still can;t ever give Howie credit for anything, just Hurts.

Now that AJ brought to light that the QB needs a lot to work on... you don't like him.   Look at how you go out of your way to assassinate his character.  AJ is one of the most popular guys on the team.   But he speaks truth on your boy so you can't like him now... lol.

I knew Sanders obviously gone. RB are cheap. Why wouldn’t you want to pay Saquan? On a team that’s been built to excel running the ball. These things are just obvious to me. What a season Saquan has delivered. Clearly much better than the Gainwell and whomever else committee like you and FL touted as an actual plan.

We got half our roster due to the Wentz trade... handled very well by Howie

The move you fought tooth and nail against? You very loudly wanted to keep Wentz!

Who cares?

Anybody talking about Coach of the Year…which was the talk….without the obvious selection to win it. You’re welcome.

That's great... does it mean he has less chance of getting injured?

By being younger(referring to age) health should be more favorable than if he was old(also referring to age).

So you think Minnesota will beat the Eagles then?

I expect the Vikes to be the team we need to vanquish to advance

Because the dude had it....lol   Why so complicated?

Who had AJ’s book? If he wasn’t doing anything wrong then why was his book taken?

Why does it constantly feel like I’m here to just point out the obvious?

BTW.... on top of this nice playoff win... lets enjoy taking a look at the difference between the way the Eagles and the Cowboys do business.

Compare Dak and Hurts $$ the next 4 years... 2025 -2028  in millions

Cash due....   2025        2026      2027     2028

Dak               47.75       40          45          60

Hurts            42             51          51          51

Dak is getting $192.75 mil

Hurts is getting $195 mil

Cap hits ....  2025        2026       2027      2028

Dak            89,897     67,697     61,692    71,692

Hurts          21,770     31,772     41,833    47,149

Dak cap hits = $290.978 mil

Hurts cap hits = $142,524 mil

But No Mas ... dead money    ...

Dak in 2029 dead money = $1.435 mil

Hurts in 2029  dead $$    = $97,553 mil

See No Mas, Rosie doesn't know what he is doing .... IDK.... i'll handle $96 more in dead money in 2029 with how the cap is going to jump, while saving $148 mil along the way.  Still save $52 mil overall in cap hits, but the time value of the money along the way will allow the Eagles to make moves, while Dallas remains in cap hell.  If Dallas has more drafts like their recent ones, they will be battling NY for last place in the division for a few years.  Eagles finally drafting well and locking in their core should keep them at the top of the division for a while.

Great….something everybody understands how bad Jerruh has been with contracts. Doesn’t make anybody worthy of writing Magical Contracts.

Was that the aggressive mistake looking long term not so much to win that week???

Nah…just completely boneheaded mistake cost us that win….for no growth or positive gains. Just dumb game management and playcalling by Siri. Sad part is it happened right after he had set himself up worthy of praise for how he was handling the end of game situation. Then he blew it. Like right when we l thought…hey maybe Siri actually gets it now…after he called the early TO…..then he completely blew it with that playcall.

I honestly didn’t read your post. Seemed destined to be another comparison between the worst and us…with more of a goal than just proving we weren’t the worst.

But absolutely love how Hurts took a team friendly deal.

We played Monday last year

Our team wasn’t ready to play any day of the week last year in the playoffs

Selfishly I’m happy to watch some football tonight. Should be a real good game.

Smitty needs to get healthy. Tough guy for sure. Will AJ be able to run again playing for us? His knee looked to be a problem. Just hard to see us advancing anymore without these two healing up. Not sure if it’s even a possibility in a week.

So my biggest surprise was: NO KELLY GREEN! Were we just saving those for this next game versus the Vikes? It shocked me

Gainwell isn’t a lead back but he is a good piece to the RB room. Jack of all trades type nothing really special running or catching the ball but the one area I bring up with all the time is his ability to pass protect such an overlooked trait for RBs and gainwell is really good at it.

Also think Gainwell has done really well at building his strength over the year runs strong

Next man up find ways to get ball to other players get Geodart more heavily involved if needed. Really no excuse for us not to be able to field a successful enough offense even with Smith/AJ limited though image both guys will still be playing come next week.

This doesn’t even factor in the fact we still have a top ground game and top D unit

But we are a vastly much more potent team with Saquan instead. Like I preached all along….while FL and No Mas kept regurgitating it wasn’t wise to pay a RB. They just kept saying RB doesn’t matter it’s all Oline. I was always of the belief we targeted those Oline we should take advantage of with a top RB.
How are the results looking? Have we formed a conclusion yet? 2K yards proof enough?

AJ has been a monster this season against Man coverage. Pack heavy Zone team. Not even completely positive on Vikes/Rams utilization of Man coverage. I’ll look into it and share my finds.

I was all in for a guy like Saquon you have arguably the best RB in football that can play all 3 downs rare to have guys that do this…. Swift couldn’t last year dude couldn’t block to save his life was such a massive liability.

But Saquon can play the entire game he has to be subbed out and gainwell has done just fine in that role and has honestly made quite a few plays for us when needed and Saquon was out whether dinged up or just resting

Dean has a patellar tendon tear

Yes...  clearly you pay Saquan... the same money Jerry Jeudy gets.   An offensive weapon, who would you rather have?  I'll take Barkley.  As we had this conversation over the summer.

Not exactly sure as to why….but it felt like the Packers knew what we were running in the passing game. They had our guys covered. Very predictable playcalling….or just WR injury related? Possibly both. This is a big concern for me.
