I was clearly the guy having no problem paying a Rb. Even great RB is cheap comparatively by positions. DAMN we should have paid Sanders to stay. Just a once in a lifetime RB we let get away. With him and our "franchise" QB we would easily put up 52 points per game

Not underpaid or taking any discount at all... just that the deal was done early and using all the tools to keep the cap hits low.... good business... not genius... but good common sense business.

You invest in the expensive mediocre RBs and it is the worst thing you can do cap wise for your team. You got 5 things you look for with a RB that would separate from being in a committee.... 1. Can he carry a workload ... constant 20 times sometimes over 30 2. Can he get short yardage 3. Can he pass block 4. Can he be a threat as a WR make the D have to account for him 5. Can he be a home run hitter, score on one long run You got Barkley, CMC, Henry ... CMC, can he carry the load? Henry... does he do anything in the passing game? Barkley really has no flaws, just not as good a receiver as CMC. With Henry you still need a quality #2 RB for passing situations. Guys like Mixon, Jacobs, Chubb, etc... they can do a lot too, but do you still need a quality back up to fill in. Guys like Swift and Sanders who will cost money... neither can carry a load, neither good in short yardage, neither can pass protect... you still need 2 other RBs. Not worth the money on them.

You get it yet? It’s not difficult at all. Tampering has been the way teams in the NFL have conducted business all my life. Because they talked to the AGENTS,not the CLIENTS(aka players). The AGENTS can have the paperwork drawn up DURING the tampering period even. As long as you don't talk to the CLIENT you can talk to anyone around him. Team talks to agent. Agent speaks with his client "this is a great deal I recommend you take it". Client says OK let's do it. paperwork for said deal is drawn up. All the t's are crossed and I's dotted. When witching hour comes the player SIGNS the papers. NO tampering has taken place. Even "Hurts hater, no knowledge, not a fan, ignorant" me can understand this

I doubt they want him back even at league minimum

Should be simple concept right? No direct contact between Jones and Moore.

Should be simple concept right? No direct contact between Jones and Moore. Ham may assume they are 1 in the same. It's a fine line. Usually the client tells the agent what they want. Really talking to the agent is like talking to the player in essence. The agent most times speaks for the player, but there is no mystery what it would take for the player to sign on the line. So tampring is a technicality IMO. Some players have no clue about the details, they just want money as long as they can get it and they pay the agent to take the headaches away from them since many athletes are not that swift mentally and could get shafted without proper representation. They only want loot, longevity and rap. The agent takes care of that and the rest of the legalities they don't or can't do

All while trying to digest an actual NFL scheme under Moore. Just think about how good we are and have been when considering we didn’t remotely get close to installing everything in Moore’s playbook. Much less adapting and adjusting it specifically to our team. So much further this squad could have reached with knowledge and versatility. Hold on. Are you a member of the Eagles’ management Cunningham? There is NO POSSIBLE way you could deduce this without DIRECT knowledge. Be honest here. 1) Hurts took on MUCH MORE RESPONSIBILITY with Kelce’s retirement. Are you assuming this or were you in a management meeting there? 2) Moore’s playbook. How would you know how much or how little of his playbook is being used? 3) You say "think about how good ‘we’…the Eagles…are…” I think the Eagles’ offense is good (far from really good) because of Barkley and the OLine. I do not consider myself a "Hurts’ hater”; nor do I think other Eagle fans are. I think Hurts’ lack of ability to read a defense frustrates many of the fans, including me. At least he seems to know his lack of ability in certain areas where he no longer makes bone headed mistakes. Thats good. At the same time, it will always limit him. So for me, he needs to run with more toughness. Thats a big part of his game. Often when he runs now, he falls down really early like he is afraid to take a hit. MAYBE…I’m not in the meetings to KNOW…the coaches have TOLD him to run timidly. I don’t know. But he better play much better this Sunday or the TEAM will be done.

Siri skipped so much developing our franchise QB. New coordinator every year but one. Kelce was reading the D and calling protections. Hurts is doing that job for the first time this season. All in his first year learning a completely different O scheme under Moore. I pay tons of attention to our team.

If you followed the offseason: I was shocked Siri remained. But it was made very clear in through the media he’d lost responsibilities running the O. He was being labeled top decision maker CEO coach. But then the minute Moore was hired…Siri immediately began walking things back a bit.
January 14, 20251 yr Siri jumped in so quickly limiting Moore’s power. I’m saying looked to me like I even saw Siri interfering week 2. Even a blind man could see how Siri totally went backwards with our O later. Played not to lose….instead of growing and develop big continuing stalling Moore’s O. Then right towards the end of the season there were very clear signs of Moore getting empowered. Could even hear it in the way Moore was speaking in his pressers. Siri got the boot from the scripted gameplan playcalls. Then our O started much faster….like just that obvious. It was said….then fairly plainly observed being done.

I won’t beat a dead horse or harp, but it sounds like you are grasping a bit here. The need to make THREE posts in a row to justify what your opinion is, was telling. "It was said”…..what exactly is "it” and said by whom? Let’s be clear. I am NOT a fan of Siri. But I also realize my opinion on the matter doesn’t mean anything. And don’t take a shot at other fans. You ASSUME that you are the only person that pays a LOT of attention to the team? C’mon. Sounds arrogant and dismissive. I work long hours and have hobbies (golf, Spartan racing, working out, skiing, etc) so I’m sure you pay more attention than I do. Yet from a distance (I don’t live in Philly) I have a pretty good take on the team and it’s players. I should ask others here. Maybe they would disagree. My point is give others credit for their knowledge too. It’s ok that you dont know something about the team. It really is ok.
