There is the how? what you do if you are anticipating and forcing this? Are we utilizing a spy….or if you can force to one side it should assist that second level defender plan on him.

No spy... Daniels will out run him....but I'm also not leaving the middle of the field open like we did on both the plays I mentioned.

Rather than a pure spy...I'll do what the older Trotter did and just fake blitz the A gap to start.

This goes with having to give their RG help on Carter...instead of your genius switching sides..how about we look to make it impossible for them to help the backup RG?

Do you want to flush Daniels from the pocket? Or contain him?

Do we get Nolan and Sweat out wide?

Not like 5 Man Front style though, right?

On the run plays I would...but also we can use Baun on the end if needed some times

Really if we bring Smith wide on the edge wide 9 style and have an LB in the A gap over the left side of the center... how do they double Carter...other than keeping in a RB or TE?

I think I gave you all my answers right

Well the contain or flush part? Whole key getting at is finishing.

You think Moore is doing anything lately to help his cause for a head coaching position?

No but I think Dallas is still dumb enough to hire him lmao 😂

Because I have little doubts we can flush him.

You have the MLB up in the A gap

I was thinking having him playing right into that left side Daniels is being forced to

So maybe show up at the line and drop and slide…possibly

During this seven-game winning streak — the Eagles game was the third in the streak — Daniels has completed 70.1% of his passes for 1,522 yards with 17 touchdowns and just 4 interceptions.

And then what if they run?

Week 11 in Philadelphia: 22/32, 191 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 81.6 rating; 7 rushes, 18 yards

Week 16 in Washington: 24/39, 258 yards, 5 TDs, 2 INTs, 99.1 rating; 9 rushes, 81 yards

Obviously on a ‘Read’.  Or anticipating pass

When you have the MLB up in the A….and he starts backing out? That doesn’t always work out so well against the run.

Weren’t you suggesting it was all Oline and that our backups could perform the play just as well?   (? Is just for show obviously)

Calc is BU TE?????? With this O line he has a decent shot at picking it up Why would he not?? How about giving Shipley something to do? Whatever it takes to keep Hurts from getting injured even more

Here's how long it took from snap to first contact by a defender on the Rams' 7 sacks against Jalen Hurts:
1) 4.01
2) 3.36
3) 1.88
4) 5.31
5) 3.71
6) 3.27
7) 3.86

Sad(except #3)

To not have Hurts run the play…or not run the play at all speaks really very loud though.

He has the best leg press on the team???? That increases the odds of success

If we are talking the tush push our backups did run the play Pickett did just fine especially considering he was doing it with broken ribs.

Watching the Ravens do a similar play with Mark Andrews though to protect Lamar does beg the question why we don’t try another player.

GB used Kroft as well

Sometimes it tough with the route concepts. Because he’s having to throw on third downs. So he pretty much has to look at the guys going past the sticks as first reads. But the guy getting open short obviously would be a throw that would have to occur early.

The sack was on 2nd down

Should we really come after Jayden? Maybe do what they do with Hurts at times and just be real lane discipline containment rush? Gotta do something more to effect him than we did…or most anybody has been doing. Really going to test our guys on just how great of pros can they be. Daniels is a complete shift from Stafford.

McLaurin has more yards than AJ(by a few,) so definitely a formidable weapon

Kind of was maybe getting to some points…in thinking about this upcoming matchup here. Third time is always interesting. They have some good reads on us.

No, you need to plan ahead, not 1 week at a time

Simple... if we send 4 ...Daniels will make plays.  We send more, he will have to rush and have less lanes to run.

4th and 11....he scrambled for the easy....easy 1st down...  Stafford also had an easy one...that ended up costing us Mitchell.  I don't like conservative defense on 3rd or 4th and double digits...our defense has been excellent at making tackles when they rush to throw short...if we at minimum show a blitz...that will help.

I think from the start we need to make Daniels think more than 4 are coming.

Try my dollar defense()LOL) Well it's not MINE per se HAHA
