Once again like I told FL….our guys didn’t play in the PS together on O. So you both having some theory everything got smoothed out during PS games …I’m ashamed for you both even tried to suggest that to fit your agenda. Our starting O playing together…. getting any kind of taste…. happened in Brazil. Heck we only even had one joint practice day this preseason. But you don't think this sounds pompous?

Always looking for a thrifty team friendly deal. Ringo I like also. Crazy we actually have DBs. Assuming Slay is gone is a very educated assumption. Slay surpassed my expectations this season. Doubted he’d be much past the bye week honestly. He’s had some issues…but also done some really quality play. He’s toughed it through some injuries like a real pro to show these kids how it’s done. Could easily see him flipping into coaching. Yeah....don't think Slay will coach. Not the lifestyle I see for a guy who has to be obnoxious enough to have everyone call by his last name

I think we need to draft a RT and RG(or maybe a T and a T/G) Need to keep the O line the best in the biz Lane could retire if we win another SB going out on a high note Good lord is there any version you don’t try and stretch into blaming QB1 for? Obviously not

You are going way out if your way to implore us all to NOT give Hurts any blame at all for those 7 sacks! Why? Why is it so important to you that Hurts takes zero blame on all 7 sacks?

I lived outside Cleveland in the Schotty days. His dad knew some football as much as anybody around. Have plenty of respect I’ve even transferred to his son. Just not the look of the guy you just hired to run your team. As HC…shouldn’t even wear a visor backwards really IMO. But we aren’t even talking about that part. We are talking about the first image the team sent out for their huge new hire to bring America’s Team back to glory …was a kid with a backwards visor on….as their leader.

Jerruh has some serious holes in his organization. For an Eagles fan I find it entertaining and amusing. First season in so long that we weren’t one game difference between us and them for the NFC East title. cowboys going down down down

If they are challenging us to a physical trench war, they are going to lose that battle if you tick off our lines enough. If they try to take out Hurts we will need extra ambulances at the Linc This game is going to be beyond chippy….it’s going to be straight dirty nasty war

You were explaining how Moore was forced upon Siri and not Siri’s choice... but Lurie's because he interviewed him before. He was bringing in Moore to replace Siri. The master plan. FO were the ones clearly brought in Moore. He accepted the job under the very loudly publicized through the media terms Siri was out of the O and it was Moore’s to run. I stated the whole time o was never high ion Moore and he wasn’t my choice. But yes…once again my thoughts can be more than just one step 5 year old thinking. I did lay out a scenario where I contemplated whether we’d be better off promoting Moore and letting Siri walk. Basically revolving around Moore leading our O to whole new level. If the guy I wasn’t very high on…performed great? Then probably need to keep that O mind around instead of losing him. Which would involve promoting him to HC so he didn’t leave to become HC elsewhere. All just outside the box thinking you completely failed against ever being a possibility any team would consider. Oh wait…what happened in dallas? They let their HC coach….and promoted their OC. Holy crap…..pretty much exactly did happen just one season after I actually theoretically outside the box imagined it could.

January 25, 20251 yr My thoughts were revolving around the fact the best O minds are the hardest to get hold of coaching. Making things difficult if you aren’t offering up a HC position to hire one. Siri is extremely lacking in X and O knowledge. Is what it is.

You can feel free to go back digging up whatever you wish. It was a long discussion of very many posts of me trying to explain my point. Sorry it wasn’t so super simple that I just loved Moore and hated Siri. Siri didn’t hire Moore…wasn’t his call. Which has been part of the conflict of interest we’ve dealt with this season. It was announced everywhere Siri was supposed to be stripped of his duties on O. Moore was supposed to have the autonomy to a lesser degree Fangio received on D. But Siri didn’t let Moore do that after all. Felt like Moore was doing it through to week one. But Siri was interfering very quickly. Once again felt like watching the games and listening to press conferences very very late in the season Moore took back over. Did Moore end on feeling like he had the job he signed up for by the end of the season? He’s leaving if he doesn’t. If Siri and Rosie convinced him he has the job he signed up for originally now finally…think there is actually a chance he could stay.

I’d guess we would want to keep Dejean inside as the nickel CB really seems to thrive in that role. Since options I know Rodger’s has stated he wants to stay in Philly he has filled in fine, got other young guys Ringo, Ricks sure some other guys on the practice squad Very interesting to consider whether DeJean should play outside still though. Rodgers and Ringo are strictly outside CBs. So the choice this season seemed fairly obvious. But…doesn’t mean the whole future is set based on this.

An underrated part of his game is the ability to provide run support he is a good tackler and isn’t afraid to be physical…. And being in the nickel so much that is huge asset
