Seems this were you …and so sadly it feels entire board…..are missing that it isn’t just Hurts. It’s the whole entire O…working together as one.

I’m not saying it isn’t Hurts….especially not saying he isn’t a part of the whole O unit which I’m very much including coaching and scheme.

No I point out that we have been using the offense since the spring and have played in it since then using it as some excuse now for the playoffs is just pathetic

It’s been showing up…so it applies.

I’ve never in my 30+ years of being a fan have I ever heard a single person say a team can’t learn an offense in over 6 months then try and use it as an excuse for the NFC championship game

Surprised you actually ever expected it to be mastered in TC and one joint practice. But definitely didn’t get ironed out in PS games like you mentioned where they weren’t playing.

So you see zero improvements that could occur in mastering Moore’s O in a second season? Third? Fourth? Fifth? You feel Siri has pushed Moore’s O at the fastest growth pace possible accelerating the learning curve to the max this season?

I believe a trip to the SB would seal it for Lane retiring.

He signed an extension with new money that added 2026 season onto his contract and would create more dead money....he was already under contract for the 2025 season.

Buddy it is just you that seems to miss this as you make up every single excuse under the book for Hurts and throw the blame on everyone else for his short comings.

And again not making these excuses of not knowing the O for the rest of the O because it’s a load of horse crap it’s been over 6 months beginning of the season sure there kinks to work out but 18+ games into the season no it’s just a sad and pathetic excuse for you to use for Hurts

Crazy...because Dallas had a losing season...you called the Eagles having a successful season...and that's why Lurie would fire Siri to hire Moore because teams would want Moore and Lurie would choose Moore over Siri.

I laid out a possible scenario we could promote our OC and fire our HC …sure. In fact we were one single game loss away from it happening  early in this season. You’d be the only one I know that would state you didn’t think Siri was getting fired if we lost to the Browns. If you would even dare attempt to try and state that now.

I don’t think we are using Moores O all that much go look what he did in Dallas and LA looks nothing like what we run with Hurts…as for so I think the O will add things in future years I’d hope so you always have to change with the league or you run stale… That’s completely different then saying this team doesn’t know Moore O this season though.

I think the players could play worse or better.... but explain what you think needs to be " mastered " specifically for " Moore’s offense "

You speak in vague terms and theory all the time...thinking it impresses people... but you never give a specific?

What is going to be mastered specifically for Moore’s offense, that isn't just a football skill that a player can improve within ANY offense?

We wouldn’t have fired Siri if we lost to the browns the Eagles almost never fire the HC mid season and would be unlikely they made that change during the browns game

We’ve never added on dead money for players before ? Obviously this can’t be your point. Lane has earned it as much as anybody. We win this game I think Lane retires. That’s my opinion.

You laid out a fairytale scenario... just like they would activate McKee just for the possibility of running a QB sneak.

What was the point of signing the new contract then?

Own the opinion...and don't BullSpit us later that you never said it.

Crazier part to me is the fact that Moore had to adjust his O after the bye likely had a ton of influence from Siri and Hurts to lean more heavily on the ground game.

Biggest knock on Moore was that he tended to be pass happy and yet he turned around and produced a top O unit that leaned on the ground game

Except…I’m not using it for Hurts. It’s our whole O. Same point I’ve been making all along. Not saying it in hindsight even. Was my thoughts this offseason..,,poured all the way to NFC Championship game. The exact point where I was talking about we’ll need it. To get it done last two games.

Now….i was wrong here plenty enough also. We have home field through to the SB. I didn’t realize initially Oline came to Siri during the bye week. We could actually pull this crap off! We could win the SB without hardly mastering much of Moore’s playbook. It’s pretty surreal. But I totally admit here we are. But also….here…is where I always was saying we were going to need it.

  Let’s see what happens

I laid out a scenario that if Moore took off with this O it would be a very real situation staring us in the face. Moore didn’t really get the control of the O anyway all season. He really just pretty much showed to be about as flawed as I always believed…why I wasn’t ever that high on him to begin with.

I sure hope you aren’t trying to stand on any points based on Rosie doesn’t use future cap for past and present play

Crazy is we weren’t even that far off from the scenario I laid out from being able to occur. Our O had the reigns pulled back on them though. But really it’s just Moore isn’t that good. I don’t like some of his spacing on his plays…or the design of some of them. His playcalling is lacking for my tastes. Just not great situational calls. I’m in favor of letting Moore go for an upgraded O mind as OC.

But Moore is a quality teacher. Saw plenty he did teach. Gotta credit Coach Doug packaged with him. Also gotta credit the largest growth season for Siri. He learned some lessons…and grew up some. Not just Siri learning…but everybody here learning how to deal with Siri really helped.

Feel I’ve laid out proof examples in abundance here. It’s the development of the whole O installing…executing….growing….adapting and applying it. Just hasn’t been many opportunities to do all this under fire. Just isn’t the same as your PS games you claim all our starters should have miraculously ironed all these issues out during.

I’m sitting here pointing at Hurts also. Not even just making excuses for him. Without the entire O being on the same page and executing just doesn’t mean crap. Some things are just flat out different under fire versus actual opponents…instead of with a red jersey on in simulated no hitting practices not at full speed. Not varying defenders or D schemes. Each play….you need to be the most ready for every scenario. Takes years.

Years.. not a PS game while you are reading a book on the bench

Yet…here we are in a fantastic situation ready to bring home the parade…I’m sure hoping
