February 5, 20251 yr Hurts has been excellent against the blitz this season. But a CB blitz I see as a danger…not really faced. Stunting confusing our protection assignments has been one of the bigger areas of concern I see.
February 5, 20251 yr https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2025/2/5/24359654/jalen-carter-misses-media-availability-ahead-of-super-bowl-due-to-illness-eagles-chiefs-nfl LOL I'm thinking being the young ultra-competitor that Carter is they just said he's sick so he doesn't give KC any chalkboard material.
February 5, 20251 yr How good of a job has Rosie done targeting these hard working maybe considered more blue collar type strong character players for this team? These players are everywhere on this squad.
February 5, 20251 yr Half of Xavier Worthy’s stats come from the slot. Obviously calling on DeJean to handle. Really feel like dealing with him is pretty key. Crossing routes and Outs beyond what most just consider of the Go routes.
February 5, 20251 yr I shared we were playing in Melbourne in 2026. That not has been shutdown. Not happening. Not sure how there’s confusion about it.
February 5, 20251 yr Dallas Goedert has 50 career postseason receptions, which is 10th-most all-time by a tight end. But he only needs five Sunday to pass former Eagle Keith Jackson (51), Antonio Gates (51) and former teammate Zach Ertz (54) to move into 7th. With a playoff run next year, he could realistically also pass Brent Jones (60), Shannon Sharpe (62) and Dallas Clark (64), which would leave him behind only Travis Kelce (174 going into Sunday) and Rob Gronkowski (98). Thanks to Roob’s stats

Add in if you don’t play in the PS just how polished can things actually be? Very first series without a red jersey standing in your own endzone on third and long …is difficult….the fact a good OLine gets smoked and his guy hits you to not let you follow through on your throw isn’t anything I’d change my whole season plan over. A QB needs to be taught annually how to throw? How to avoid a blitz?(especially if you are a running QB)? Annually, a QB must be re-taught where all his receivers are on the field? Sure, there are new things to learn, but you don't forget the old things you learned in HS,college and the last 4 years, and if you put in 8-10 hours a day doing your JOB, why is that too much to ask when you cash 53 million dollar checks? Let's also recall when Siri was hired he had NEVER been a HC before. Is there a learning curve there?

Not like he’s fantastic…but clearly a guy that can coach and made some serious progress this season. All these things couldn’t be done or coached supposedly….got done. That tandem is good enough to go to the SB?

Pretty much relying on AJ, Smitty and Hurts to make those big plays they were so great at making happen. Huge metric for Siri. Seems like the main metric he used for the O and D. D…he preached just don’t give up the big play. So Rosie forcing Moore in here was huge. Giving the O a few more plays than just scramble to make the big plays. LOL every team preaches don't give up the big play. Every team wants to establish the run.........all 32 of them. What it takes is getting the players in to do the job, then having the HC put it all together with "big picture" vision as to how it SHOULD look. You need every one of these facets to make it to the SB. Players, coaches, execution. Every team wants this, few achieve it, but one team does it better every year and hoists the Lombardi

Can’t happen with selfish players like that. What’s the list of QBs and WRs that would be accepting of this? Heck…it was a real struggle and challenge for these guys to even do it. 10 wins, you called it, spot on

Who knows... depends if the Chiefs control the ball for long periods converting on 3rd downs due to our soft coverages? Last game of the season no reason to hold anything back on either side of the ball... so maybe some blitzes we haven't seen yet? LOL,well I had 37-27 before and you told me that was too high. It seems we always get into shootouts lately. But these D's are both better than when we played them back then, so suspect more ball control and with bark we can do that. IDK that they have the RB's to ground and pound. I feel this game will be more defense based. I have to admit Elliott bothers me some. He needs to not CHOKE. Every point matters. KC hasn't had to face the tush push we perfected and IMO they can't stop it. I feel KC D has been over rated all year because Mahomes makes them look good

I'm looking at using the passing game to control the ball...really seeing Barkley as the home run threat when they fail to contain him. If Barkley can also pound it on the majority of his runs, in addition to the big play threat... we should kill them. Big key though is Hurts being able to avoid the 3rd and longs and / or handle the blitz from Spags. IDK just watching us when we come out, we start passing early. Maybe that is to loosen things up a bit for Bark? Then after that series(or 2) we start hammering Bark, which loosens up the pass again. IDK if this is by design. Just using the eye test. KC will be tossing wrinkles at Hurts and he needs to be ready to burn them. He really DOES hold the damn ball too long, and I don't mind doing that to extend plays, but once you see it's hopeless throw the ball AWAY. No need to run backwards and take 12 yard losses. It really bugs me when he takes us out of FG range. There are times you need a 7 step drop, not 5 and Hurts should know when to alter that. It seems like a small deal, but it can pay big dividends

Can't win them all, but you can win more than you lose. Huff was disappointing, but maybe Fangio can whip him into shape if he stays(TBD)

That would be a logistical disaster for the teams chosen. in fact it would not be fair to do. I'm not a fan of any foreign games. They can try NFLE(uro) again if they want as a separate league, but that failed once because the Euro fans are into soccer and rugby. 1-2 games a year is ok,but not a fan of expanding them constantly. They should do all pre season games there to see if they can build any interest

Thanks to Roob’s stats Win the game, screw the stats as you always say. I like Goedert, but he isn't Gronk by any stretch. I had a blast in Hawaii with Gates. We talked a little football over dinner, but he said he liked that that wasn't the only subject. We talked about alot of things and he appreciated the break from 100% talking football. Also at the big table(Bennihana) was Paris Hilton(where we stayed in Waikiki). So it was a very cool dinner for me
