February 6, 20251 yr QBs still show plenty of learning in their thirties. Even the ones the crucial lessons weren’t skipped over because they didn’t have a HOF C allowing a HC over his head first time to skip by so much that’s always been important. So clearly at 26 ourQB1 still has plenty of room to grow.

You harped all year about Siri holding us back, not teaching, not progressing the team right up until we best the wuss LOL, then suddenly, as if by magic, it all just came together that one game while everyone else was seeing steady growth all year long 💯

I know, stupid hypothetical question. I’m just curious to hear your response. I have hope and a good feeling about this game….but one big concern is QB play. Can Hurts show us and the world that he can play big with no errors on the big stage THIS time…with a better offense? C’mon O Line and Saquon! 220 yards rushing Saquon. Score TDs and not FGs!! You got zero shot of getting a yes or no answer

Speaking of mo.............Nobody ever said things were perfected week 1. However it's the SAME situation for EVERY NFL team. The other 31 teams have it all down except us??? C'mon now. ANY new offense was started by week 1. Why is TRAINing camp called that??????? Hint------ it's to TRAIN new players to the team or staff or concepts, or any combination. "Detroit has been keying and working for this SB run all year" But we haven't????? Please explain first how you "know" this and second what were the differences this year. Why were the Lions working towards the SB, but we were not???? Any info would be helpful as to the above claim

They started out hot, ran the score up on some bad teams and got lucky vs Houston and Chicago as both teams brain farted at the end. They had injuries and were playing worse not better. Same as our team last year except we were running out if gas as the competition got better. The Eagles were easily the team you could see was getting better as the season progressed. Really the one hiccup was Carolina, that's it.

Howie nailed the draft, got Bark, Added line depth. Sounds "all in" to me, yet I keep forgetting Hurts carries this team on his back and has for 4 years in a row

From there it was just a matter of time for the new players and leadership to get established. Offense they lost their leader in Kelce, took time for Barkley to settle in as the leader. Defense they lost Cox,they had CGJ step in and also just getting the new players ( half the starters) all up to speed. Plus the Georgia kids stepping up.

Everybody wasn’t in the same situation.
February 6, 20251 yr You have to give Lurie credit...probably his best year as an owner. Right from the start, he took his time to get all the input and assess the issues. Listening to Howie and Siri to identify problems and go after the solutions. Nailing both coordinators and upgrading the holes on the roster. Getting rid of the cancer in Reddick and allowing the young players to grow.

February 6, 20251 yr Rosie undid his screwups from last season with Fangio and CJ. Fangio took charge and was given autonomy to bring in his guys. Some cheap solutions but given the draft ammo to do what he chose. Fangio took a terrible D and turned it into the top D. The guy we had in house already and Rosie screwed around and lost….thank goodness we got back. Coaching matters!

Similar to Lurie listening to Siri and Howie.. Siri took the time to listen to the players. Biggest thing was listening to Hurts and having Moore adjust to what works best for Hurts. The organization all on the same page... the decision makers taking input from the ones below them to help everyone involved.
February 6, 20251 yr Jalen Carter has to eat against Pro Bowl G Trey Smith. Find it tough we come out on top if the refs allow him to get away with murder holding Carter so Mahomes doesn’t get crushed. How can you not expect the refs to let the Chiefs hold all day? Even if they get called a time or two….if they do it the whole game…that’s a win for the Chiefs.

February 6, 20251 yr So over time, Moore made the scheme both his and one that the holdovers—Patullo, Stoutland, receivers coach Aaron Moorehead and tight ends coach Jason Michael—could take ownership of, too. On Wednesday, I relayed to one of those coaches that a couple of coaches who’d played both the Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs said Philly’s offense was relatively simple. He smiled, and said, "That’s the idea.”
February 6, 20251 yr Just can’t forget all Kellen Moore had to do. He had to take the old established Siri O plays and blend them with his playbook. So much more difficult than just install his own scheme and playbook.

Also, once you win the top players add you to the list of "yeah I will play for them". You can't be this dense(well maybe you can LOL). The other teams are constantly trying to find a way to get there. You can however destroy a good team with bad contracts(which is less than "as good or better"). This is where Dallas is a huge fail

Detangling that while adding to it. Streamline and make efficient…but also you need three or four ways to do the same things.
