It's your season now.... or soon enough.  First I'm curious as to see who they resign... then who they may go after in free agency.  Or possibly the big trade for Garrett.

Then the draft.

So just to recap

Is ANYONE still disappointed the Eagles say the starters in week 18?

Was hilarious anyone wanting them to play.   Notice how quickly that was forgotten?

Crazy they did it last season. Brutal injuries. Want that where Sidney took his huge blow? Hurts finger got jacked up big time. AJ lost. There was two other injuries….that guys continued on playing through.

Yeah Hurts isn’t deserving to be a starter…bench him for Shew. Your brilliant take was.

He sucked a few games didn't he??? How many years ago was that again? You wanted Siri fired all THIS year

Not sure anybody here I remember being on that crowd. So huge got to the SB so Saquan could set the mark I’d say that mattered the most. Even though he probably kind of choked in those biggest game….he had a season for the ages. Which I think the whole team takes pride in. Even stating he kind of was caught up in the Super Moment….he still got enough yards to accomplish the feat….though it was now where near efficient. He came through on that bobbled catch to actually make sure he did finish hauling it in. And I know it probably doesn’t register for stat only nerds….he stepped up and had a few very crucial blocks we needed.

This season did you notice any intangibles with our leaders….and team?

Yes. we've been saying all year guys  progressed, while you droned on about not learning anything. Siri had no vision, Moore's offense was not implemented, we were ignoring the big picture(lol) and just a bevy of BS we're all used to now

I’ve come around to give him some credits I missed. I can own that. Not really changing all my opinions though really. He’s a players coach that having fought through the adversity sitting on the hot seat…probably deserving to be fired….he owned it…ate it…persevered. Think it was very key to rallying this squad all together. He has his strengths in plenty of areas. I didn’t give him enough credit for all of them. His weaknesses? Yeah they are real….but he’s growing as a young HC. Was he the best we could give our players right off the bat as a first time HC? No way. Just obvious….but….it was so extreme rough.

Giants hiring Chad Hall as QB coach. His sister is Matthew Stafford’s wife. Obviously leading to some speculation about …yeah…you get it.

LMFAO, OH yeah that's they they want him. I'm glad it's not because of whatever talent he may have. If you want Staff who not just talk top Staffs agent???? OH NM we can go through his sister on Easter sunday .HAHAHA unbelievable the lengths you will go

We’ve suffered hitting the bumps in the road with Siri’s learning and developing curve. Think we all can agree our players now know him so much better and how to work with him. Think we can all agree he’s been improving. To think he didn’t need to do that previously would have been just fool hearty logic. He’s really grown from his most trying situations. He didn’t fold….he battled! I like that.

That we could have been doing what we finally did in the NFC Championship and SB….the biggest games of the year? Yeah….seems like you cried over and about that much more than me. I was worried we weren’t seething things up to be ready enough. You just flat didn’t think it was possible or existed. Was I wrong? Or could we do….what we did these last two games I’ve been just envisioning we could be? Clearly we could do it. Clearly we were ready to do it. So I think we can both be very happy to take the L on any of that.

And I gave Hurts the kudos he deserved yesterday. It was a long time coming. He did great yesterday, but still it's about the surrounding cast. I've been giving the O line credit all year, then to have parts go down and guys come in and not miss a beat is fantastic by Stout. Barkley take a ton of pressure off Hurts, why he looks better this year and as the year went on. Barkley > Sanders and it's not close

We learned so much. With Moore we found out Hurts can Read, call protections and audible/get us into the right plays to run our O.  That’s been the big picture for our franchise best ever QB. You said he couldn’t do it. I just kept pointing out he could….it was just skipped because we had Kelce to cover for things on the too short term of thinking approach from the coaching.

And you know what? I still don’t think this O reached their ceiling this season. Always believed unlike you there was so much more to implement and master past TC and that one joint practice.

10 wins right? Seems like you were crying because you were so far off LOL You win games when your lines are the best in the league

We still were doing so much learning and live game developing just in these playoffs. The player talent I never have been questioning along the Oline. But just from so few differing situations under live fire….they didn’t get to their top pass blocking potential….scary for the rest of the league.

TD O line. Said that ALL year. Tush push TD's and first downs. It was nice seeing SIRI shift gears knowing they were going to block out Bark at all costs. Hurts had a great game. I never said otherwise, but that's not how we got here. We got here on Bark and the O line and a HUGELY better defense. Hurts did enough and I was happy to see he saved his best game for last. He did make a few reads more that usual. I hope that continues. We should have a similar team next year, but it's a much tougher schedule if things stay as they are. Been pounding all year to USE THE SLOT and Hurts finally did it the last few games

This is National media speculation I’m sharing more than my personal take. But yeah…it does actually make plenty of sense. Giants would really like to have Stafford. Most the rest of the league I’d say feels his career is at an end. There is a good fit there. I mean haven’t we all seen moves like this actually add up to bigger picture more than one step thinking results? Did the Jets make any moves before actually officially bringing in ARod? I think it’s totally reasonable speculation. But I have no idea.

Barkley, Sanders, Gainwell….all didn’t really run the ball against the Chiefs in either SB. Both times it was Hurts that had to shoulder that load. The Chiefs both times took away our strength. Sanders fumbled twice in the SB. Saquan got hit by the pressure of the big moment too much. One guy….stepped up in these huge moments instead! Hint: Wasn’t the RBs

Was my concern, if like last SB ,that if our RBs got shut down were we ready and versatile enough to win other ways something that our team didn’t exactly face in the SB? Seems like I was pretty much envisioning kind of what almost exactly was the situation we would face. Were we ready? We absolutely were! Feels great!

Yeah you obviously still aren’t giving Hurts  the credit he deserves. But that’s just my opinion. What’s important? We seem to always disagree about this. For me it’s about can the guy be The Guy in the big pressure moments. Not about can he make something with a crap team. You compared Fields to Hurts. You Loved how Fields could turn crap team into some exciting plays, stats and highlights. Not my concern or how I look at things. I prioritize is the he The Guy with a good team that can get it done. Jalen Hurts is THAT GUY!

But yeah he also did take our crap team in 2021 to the playoffs as well.

You even made sure to mention Hurts  interception he threw yesterday. Took a shot at him still there.

Did he use the slot in the SB? Is that where Smitty lined up for that beautiful deep TD pass Hurts delivered you pounded on about he couldn’t make?

Nah Smitty was outside there. Not even sure which play he threw to the Slot guy really you are talking about yesterday.

You really win games when you put together a complete team.
I feel zero shame in not assuming Fangio could transform our D so quickly from a disaster into the best in the league. I don’t recall anybody going way out on those limbs. Even if they predicted two more regular season wins. We were NFC Champs like I did predict. I just knew there was a learning curve that was gutted this squad had to climb. Two knew coordinators, coming off the worst collapse maybe ever to end last season, our QB taking on a much larger role while leading a new scheme….,.10…or 12 regular season wins wasn’t what I ever was keying  on… I was resting all hopes on how far could we get at seasons end.

Vikes had the same regular season wins as us….doesn't make them remotely the same quality team as us. If that example that just freshly happened this very season doesn’t teach you what’s important…then nothing ever will. Figure out….or don’t….its always been a massive key ingredient to the NFL.
