Watching replays and a bit of film it looked like Hurts didn't pull the trigger on tight window throws.

That's not a bad thing just an observation about how he was taking care of the ball

Yeah like I’ve said….I’m not a fan of coaching don’t throw interceptions. I believe in coaching greatness and how to do things correctly in the first place …which doesn’t lead to interceptions. But hey…Hurts took on such a larger role for the first time this season. Heck coached on taking snaps from under C that wasn’t a Brotherly Shove. Then finally given the answers on what his decisions need to be made when facing all the varying scenarios after reading a D. He really was in control of the O this season for the first time. Results worked out pretty fantastic this season. So it worked out. He needed to improve his ball security no doubt…and he did. Took that knee injury really protecting the ball. I just don’t want coached to not throw interceptions become overwhelming being gunshy. That’s been my concern with the approach.

Sweat really also…if you compare things to my life. Crazy for me personally to even consider choosing a six mil paycut. But his salary obviously was beyond anything I was ever achieving. He had a very good season. Had an incredible dominating SB. So he should be around the twenty mil range now. Sweat has earned the pay…earned it taking less to be an Eagles…been one all along. Would love to see that guy get what he deserves from us.

So teach them to not throw interceptions and protect the ball the exact thing our coaching staff fixed from Hurts who was on a league leading pace for turnovers from last year and first qtr. of this year?

It’s not a bad thing for the coaches to sit the player down and tell them hey you don’t have to be a hero we have playmakers you can trust we don’t have to force plays…. We seen the difference that made after the bye…. The turnovers were the major killer of this team

He took team friendly terms. Being a second round pick he really hadn’t made the NFL money yet. He got paid…never was any doubts that was happening, for me anyway. He let Rosie set things up the best for the organization cap wise. Great move by a true leader who clearly values winning.

See throwing in last season just isn’t even fair. He was stuck in zero scheme with Siri not being an X and O guy. Siri just ran with a limited leftover plays from Steichen previously. When the D knows your playcall by formation presnap it makes things so much tighter and more difficult. Siri’s playbook was so pathetically limited. It pretty much was street ball. Hurts scrambled to buy the extra time while all targets went on long developing deep routes. Defenders in the NFL get paid too. It’s amazing our guys accomplished what they did under those circumstances.

You don’t teach don’t throw interceptions. You teach a rhyme and reason behind an actual scheme. There should be expectations of what the coach wants one every play…on every situation. That’s what you coach…if you know X and Os and have anything near a pro scheme.

Two interceptions in game one is really what your harping on. One of which happened the very first series of the season. With zero snaps in PS games from our O. Standing in the pocket of his own endzone. Which Dickerson got mauled straight back into him making it so he couldn’t finish his throw. So not even really Hurts fault….he threw an interception on his first series…learning a new scheme….taking on so many more responsibilities for the first time…..when it was the All Pro G that failed really….oh yeah…in Brazil!

The ball security holding on to it and protecting it more not fumbling…I agree with. Hurts did need to be taught and preached to protect the ball much better there. He was real lax running around with it too many times on his career previously.

My complaint was on the BS OPI call stopping the great throw by Hurts on fourth down conversion to AJ. We score right from the get go without that BS penalty. There were two other drive stalls that I scratched my head about the dumb playcalling. One was having the ball first and goal from the 7. Handed off for no gains twice straight to Barkley. Barkley isn’t our punch it in guy. Had to setup to four downs Brotherly Shove it in from the 7 of trying that. So just settled for a field goal instead of TD. I didn’t like it. I’ll try and remember the other…I really can appreciate so much Moore brought coaching our O this season. But his playcalling I don’t see as his strength. Most of the season big plays came from Hurts reading the D and changing the play at the line. Which actually is where I credit Moore. He gave Hurts the answers of what’s needed in these situations….top bad he didn’t give enough of the forest playcall straight from the huddle. But that was very crucial element for our O to get….Moore brought that to us. He does know some X and Os and how to teach and communicate.

Turnovers weren’t the major killer of this team. Siri made a bone headed decision and Saquan dropped the super easy catch on that mistaken playcall to ice the game. That’s why we lost to ATL…not the interception Hurts threw trying to undo all that after the fact at the end in desperation. Tampa Bay we had too many injuries and a team that never got off the plane in the heat. Not turnovers why we lost that game. Then Washington beat us when Hurts got knocked out with a concussion.

Two things Siri doesn’t know football yet won a SB lmao 😂 come on worst take ever

next it is completely fair it highlights a very real problem the team had with turnovers that continued the start of this season…. What was Hurts the first 4 weeks like top 3 or so in turnovers that the coaching staff addressed and fixed after the bye.

Siri knows being a players coach. How to deal with players…and forging a team he did so well this season. I mean heck…every player saw what he was facing in his adversities. He was on the thinnest of ice to be fired. He held in and fought back and rose. Was great did the whole team to gel together and be ready to face adversity and not shrink and wilt.

Siri coaches be tough and physical. Genuinely feels like he’s a good guy. Really very immature….but right before our eyes exhibited growth and maturing. Has come a long ways while coaching here for sure. I’m proud of him!

Gotta give tons of credit to the character of the players Rosie has collected. Not a whole bunch of superstar divas that you could pull off our approach with this season honestly. AJ, Hurts, Smitty, Goedert….such an extremely high majority of these positional players you couldn’t even have the thought to try what we did this season. Siri deserves so much credit for he was the right coach…that could get these very special players to go along with this plan. Big time players with supreme talent….they had to put egos in check…they had to accept not getting the statistical glory….for the sake of the bigger goal.

Ok let’s break this down.

ATL- terrible throw decision sure ATL still going to get the ball back with a minute left to drive the ball and score do we stop them? We didn’t after the FG so why does it change if we ran terrible take.  AND YES  Hurts had a chance to drive and tie the game the turnover cost us

TB- destroyed in the first half 16-30 game we are driving and hurts fumbles leads to another TB score so instead of a possible 1 score game it goes to 33-16 TB and we do nothing the rest of the game yes turnovers matter still

So yea turnovers were an issue can even look at the games we won the

GB game I give some slack to first game but shouldn’t have even been close if not for turnovers and if Love doesn’t get hurt do we even win? Debatable

NO- didn’t we turn it over multiple times and thankfully our defense held strong but again another game that shouldn’t have been close if not for the fact we turned it over and game NO easy points

Rosie, Siri, Hurts, AJ and Smitty I very much single out for being so outstanding to have made that even a choice to be a possibility.

Yes he is great with players guess what else he has been praised for numerous times his knowledge of the game of football…. Knowing X and Os of football and being a good play caller are two different things.

100% Siri isn’t a great player caller we seen that but that’s a very far cry from saying he doesn’t know the X and Os

Not any good point on ATL game. Saquan catches it game was iced and over. Siri doesn’t call a pass in the first place we are killing the clock and icing it with a first down …either that play or on fourth down. Either way the whole stadium and isn’t so shell shocked over the turn of events. D doesn’t just get walked over while in disbelief still most likely even if we didn’t make it…which we weren’t being stopped…no way anyway.

On the TB game you’re  just blowing your credibility BG to suggest turnovers was the reason we were never winning that game.

Absolutely what I said about Moore instead. Moore understands the X and Os….but not a good playcaller. Siri possesses neither ability.

Plus the ability to coach…by teaching. Moore pretty good there…doesn’t seem Siri is so much. But Siri is much better with people. Siri’s more comfortable in front of people talking and such. Press conference or hosting a team banquet you’d much rather have Siri over Moore. Needing answers to adjust to a D playcall? Easily Moore over Siri. Siri has zero answers or adjustments…or reasons of why.

Do we get 3 yards on the run? No guarantee… no guarantee that Saquon gets us in position to tush push either…. So sitting here and saying if we ran we ice the game is such a false take.

Realistic the way ATL defended the run for Barkley to be that wide open we weren’t gaining yards running the ball so ATl going to have around a 1mjnute to drive.

Then the defense being shell shocked what the F stupid ass take is that they knew the play they knew what we were calling the excuses you make for stuff is so pathetic

Yes because you win SBs without any football knowledge… you have the best start in franchise history without any knowledge of football being just terrible with X and O.

Wow you are clueless if this is what you believe

Out early struggles were based on bad gameplans with being the lowest scoring team in the first quarter. Didn’t even score in the first quarter forever this season. Who has control over the scripted gameplan each week? That was a fail. Our O maybe wasn’t real ready to come out and play to start some games also. Who is in control of that coaching job the most? Areas of failure. Then hey clearly it was ackoledged…well there was no alternative choice when your team is great but you’re the worst scoring in the entire league….so Moore took over…pretty easy if to understand if you follow the pressers and team media official stuff. Then boom….early scoring was fixed and no longer an issue.
