You didn't think we had the talent to win more games than last year I wasn’t assuming Q would be so NFL ready week one coming from Toledo. Even being my guy. That’s was a huge jump. I wasn’t assuming we’d install most of Moore’s O by week one. I was giving Jurgens some room to grow first time at C. Becton first time ever playing G. Nobody ever had taken such a bad D and completely transformed them into the best in one season time. So why would ANYBODY assume that would occur so quickly…since it’s never been done before.
February 11, 20251 yr Yeah I felt losing our leaders in the trenches in Kelce and Fletch would have been a loss felt more than it was. I don’t feel bad about that. Sue me.
February 11, 20251 yr I didn’t think we had a third WR. What happens if we faced injuries? Well we definitely faced injuries. We didn’t make the trade for Dotson until late.

Wasn’t a bad decision by Hurts at all. You even just acknowledged it was still a good decision being better than just a P that occurs otherwise. Plus it was Jurgens that made the bad decision and flat missed his assignment. Pass blocking confusion would be to blame. Jurgens not even trying to touch the rusher was the bad decision here. Him and Dickerson going to block nobody was the weakness.
February 11, 20251 yr 7 hours ago, GreenbleedinNC said: Where did I say he couldn't make that pass? WHERE? WHEN? You said he couldn’t event throw it that far. Watch the highlight and see how many air yards Hurts threw that pass…on a dime at that. About 58 yards in the air…with his "noodle arm.”
February 11, 20251 yr 7 hours ago, GreenbleedinNC said: You wanted Siri fired right up to the Wuss win LOL I wanted him to get out of the way enough for Moore to install and adjust his O. Wanted us to be ready for the versatility I was sure we would need when we couldn’t just hand the ball off relying on Saquan. Did that day come? Obviously it very much did in the SB. You would have been the first to jump down Hurts throat if our passing attack wasn’t ready for the moment. Just like you jumped on Hurts at fault and noodle arming the interception. Which was a terrible take just trying to shade Hurts on.
February 11, 20251 yr I admit to wanting an upgrade at HC with the best O mind we could find. Believing coaching matters…like how I really wanted Fangio.,,seeing him as the best D mind we could hire. Did I even think the best D mind we could get would transform this terrible D to best in the league season one? Nope…didn’t think coaching could do even that much…which he did.

He did make great checks and I said so Maybe our best franchise QB ever can be a starter after all. You’re catching up…at the slowest possible pace…but trending in the right direction …finally.

Or your take…maybe he can be an NFL starter.

That's what a game manger QB does. Moves the chains Great response, NOT! He’s the most accurate passer in SB history all because of Barkley? Even with Barkley suiting up for the Giants the first SB game? Brilliant attempt at anyway possible to spin against Hurts. Go ahead and enlighten us all how in Zona SB by sitting at home on his couch Barkley made Hurts so accurate. Can’t wait to hear this one.

Give total credit to Rosie for where he got things. But if we want to actually talk about reality? I know that’s a stretch here. Rosie had completely clusterFd the team so bad he couldn’t even be fired. Capped out old slow team carrying tons of dead money weighing on the future. That’s what Jalen Hurts stepped into. How did any QB survive leading the Eagles in 2021? Not how the heck did he carry us to the playoffs at that. How did he even survive that as his first year starting?

He did a great job mixing up the O line when we had injuries to deal with. Jurgens was also terrific despite some people saying he couldn't cut it Who did you talk to that didn’t believe Kelces handpicked replacement couldn’t cut it? I didn’t ever hear anybody believe that. You must be watching too much day time TV like The View.

February 11, 20251 yr 7 hours ago, joemas6 said: Almost felt bad for Mahomes...brought back memories of when Andy wouldn't protect McNabb by letting Winston Justice single block all game long. Except…that wasn’t the case at all. AR had the extra protection called and going. Mahomes was seeing ghosts. Clean pockets he stepped up into making a sack. Our Dline did eat….was great. But AR called a rollout…totally under zero pressure…that’s when Mahomes throws the pick six to DeJean. Mahomes struggled reading the D, making good decisions…staring down the rush. AR was guilty of abandoning the run, which we all know to be his weakness. But it’s hard to really blame him or even fathom any other options AR possessed. He completely outcoached a better team in 2022 to steal that SB ring. Fangio wasn’t that same coach to get so outcoached…is really all there was.
February 11, 20251 yr 7 hours ago, joemas6 said: Jurgens I don't get why anyone would doubt him? He was a pro bowl alternate at RG... he is a natural center. Logic says he would be better at C than RG. Who did doubt him? Or are we talking about doubting he would be as good as he was so quickly? Blew his assignment pass blocking on the interception. Really was pretty bad. Had a few other less than stellar plays. But overall performed like a boss.
February 11, 20251 yr 7 hours ago, GreenbleedinNC said: He(Mahomes) didn't have near the supporting cast he is used to. I suspect they work on that alot now Very good D. Best C, Two other very good OLine, best TE ever,JuJu, Rivers, Hollywood Brown, first round pick WR, Hopkins, Pacheco and Hunt at RB. Poor Mahomes…maybe been better if he was reading a D and making better decisions without staring down the rush so much. Oh…wait that can only apply to Hurts when HurtsHating….sometimes I forget how things work around here.

I would still add another guy at G,but I would be looking at C's as opposed to G's. I hope we retain Becton and Fred Johnson as well Steen I thought looked just fine this season. Did draft Gs already.
February 11, 20251 yr 7 hours ago, GreenbleedinNC said: Steen? I would retain Becton and draft another future guy to compete with him. Still, even though Lane will be around if there is a worthy RT to get we should. FJ is a BU and Becton could maybe be a RT BU also if needed. I think Dotson sticks too. Wilson had a drop, but I suppose he stays and maybe ASmith gets things going,he has disappointed me so far We got Jake Driscoll back also. I don’t know if Becton is retained or not. You’d figure somebody is ready to throw big money at him. We made him…he just is so huge and mauled people so noticeably at times. But he also screwed up his fair share of times also. He actually made it through playing most of the season for us. But is too wimpy for my likings for the Oline. Seems too jump to come out over any possible slight injury concerns. Be good to keep him…but not a huge priority. If he really wants to stay…says so through his contract…that works for me…otherwise…whatever.

Trevor Keegan. Also got Driscoll back and brought in Kinnard only like a second year player. All while having Steen ready to start. Been grooming Toth for quite a bit also. Never lacked going after Oline.
February 11, 20251 yr Toth can handle it, Keegan I think might just really battle to start next season. All while Steen showed he was ready to start this season already. Driscoll pulled the duties previously for us.

If both sides agree that’s the situation…then sure. You going to pay him 20 mil a season? He better appreciate what he has much more than anything like that to stay.

"I don’t know what it looks like for me now, but I’m happy.” Kind of like how Hurts was quoted when signing his contract…”Money is nice…championships are better.” I like guys who have this thinking and want to be Eagles. Would really like to keep Sweat here. He’s the guy that truely deserves it. Bled Eagles green. Took a big paycut to stay here. Been doubted pretty much the whole way…but been here delivering for us…taking a paycut to do so. But…the guy has earned to be paid by us.
February 11, 20251 yr 1 hour ago, joemas6 said: Lol... 3 Jets from their 2020 class...Becton, Huff and Mann..... are now champs with us! God bless them. Imagine being the other way around going from here to the Jets.... and losing money to do so..lol. Huff was clearly the deciding factor in our championship. Did he even dress for the game at the end? Rosie convinced Douglas he could just hard ball Reddick’s agent into suiting up. Poor Douglas doesn’t even have a job now.
