Keyboard warriors or billionaire owners who never played wouldn't need to change anything right? Obviously all the stuff I see complaints about are due to former player and player union influences. Goodell and the business guys influence more of the other things, more related to business, not on the field. So you think someone should be fined for a harmless gesture after making one of the biggest plays of his career. Maybe you'd also like to ban sacks hard hits, trash talk and anything that might offend someone Tell me how copying the Cole arrow shoot harms anyone. Would you also ban the Trotter ax gesture?

Under todays climate Brian Dawkins, one of the greatest Eagles ever would be banned from the game for some of his hite. I think fining someone for a benign gesture is stupid and counterproductive
February 17, 20251 yr Nate Scheelhaase The Eagles interviewed Scheelhaase back in 2023 before promoting Brian Johnson to offensive coordinator. Scheelhaase worked for several seasons at Iowa State under head coach Matt Campbell, who is a close friend of Sirianni’s. Scheelhaase worked under Sean McVay in 2024 as an offensive assistant and passing game specialist for the Los Angeles Rams. He served as McVay’s "play-drawer” in 2024, which is a prestigious title that has been previously held by current head coaches Zac Taylor and Liam Cohen, as well as Zac Robinson

I don't care either way.... but you always have the option of writing a letter to Jon Runyan. I'm more interested in what happens during the play.

I find it funny that you think Runyon makes up these policies. He's just the face who takes all the flak Hunt was honoring an Eagles great who just happened to wear the same number

What was that on TV Saturday mornings when we were kids....." The more you know"

I’m glad they at least are letting them celebrate much more than most of my life they were allowed to. But I can also see the celebrations really would be too much if left completely unchecked. I’m actually fine with them not allowing throat slashing, gun or bow and arrow celebrations. I envision a bunch of political celebrations coming ahead. Going to become so much of it gets deep into cultural divide celebrations and hard core statement celebrations.
February 18, 20251 yr Jemal is sitting in the drivers seat real nice position being Assistant HC and RBs coach after the showing especially this past season. Unfortunately probably just Rooney rule crap. Can’t see Moore going over Coach Doug’s head like that.
February 18, 20251 yr The Eagles don't use a franchise tag. It's bad business....that's a Dallas method. And so you see the results.

It's becoming unwatchable. Now fines are coming after the game ends because the refs SUCK. You can make anything offensive and it's STUPID and why this country went to hell to begin with. Keep the damn politics OUT of sports. They can beat each other in the face for 2 minutes in hockey, but a "bow and arrow" gesture is offensive LMAO ridiculous BS. Maybe they need a penalty box in the NFL? I'm offended the game is becoming more pu**y every year. Kaepernick needs his balls cut off and sewn to his face. I'm all for flying the middle finger. Football USED to be for MEN snd it's becoming a wussy sport and fines should be handed out for "flopping like an academy award winner" 40 yards and loss of down. Dick Butkus would be ejected EVERY GAME

Other people saw... so now that charity made more money than what their target was You see...always good things happen, without Jon Runyan fining Hunt, this charity wouldn't have gotten the money. For me... Billy White Shoes Johnson was the only celebration I thought was kool... of course I was like 7 years old. I watched the Superbowl a few times again...not from start to finish, but it's been one a bunch of times. Only celebration that I remember was Williams dunking the ball because it got a flag. I'm not 7 anymore, I don't really care about that anymore. Free agency starting soon. Should be good conversation with that.

Yeah I saw the tweet! What a great story that is and what a great way for it to turn out! I didn’t realise Hunt had asked him to donate the money to a charity but that’s a huge win.

I'm happy it was donated. Some guys work their whole lives to be in a Superbowl(most never make it) and I think it's childish to fine someone for tossing the ball over the goal post like they took a baseball bat to a opposing fans head.. Very insignificant(the prior,I could see a fine for the latter lol). Just gives the game a black eye, especially when you are playing the "dream game" you dreamt of since you joined pee wees and mom and dad sacrificed money and countless hours on. These token fines are dumb when the NFL can donate millions without batting an eye. Just put it on a shoe. The guys are playing the most emotional game of their lives

I think we have some sensitive posters on here , otherwise I don't think people are concerned about that stuff. This is the only place I've seen this come up.
