Do you live local to Philly?  Where you get the local sports on the TV and radio?

Nope

I just felt concerned about our pass rush situation in what was an ‘All In’ season. Getting rid of Reddick and you wanted to also get rid of Sweat. I was very clearly not on board with moving to Huff. That was the key issue. Getting rid of Reddick was understandable…but just to swap for Huff felt like weak forced move to me.

Like I said ... you seemed to miss everything going on during the season...with our discussion the other night you revealed at the end, that it was mostly due to your obsession with the QB.   All your " concerns " and narratives were all from before the season... similar to a guy like Skip Bayless ...you failed to see all the improvements because " the coach is holding us back"  " the QB needs to be unleashed"

It's probably why you didn't want to believe me when I said over the summer that Lurie is looking to have a dome...." I didn't hear that"  like you are the main journalist that people need to tell everything.

But it explains a lot of your left field theories and why you never jive with all the news coming out.  You need to watch " pressers "

Locally ...we have 2 full time sports radio stations.... local cable sports network... the Eagles talk is constant...with plenty of journalists who get paid just to follow the Eagles.

Better than bleacher report

Because I’m a good person?

I’m don’t have interest in your endless trolling. If you could do..what you say I don’t…take emotion out of it…Reddick is one of the potentially better options. Will it happen? Absolutely not. But I’m just going to assume they have a plan…which you say no GM ever equips himself with.

But I’m thinking about Koonce from the Raiders. But not sure where his price tag is going to be at. Probably end up too high in the scramble. So we’ll need to find some workable trade.

Because you aren't up in the local news from the team

I thought you were local and able to listen to all the talk... you mentioned Reuban Frank etc.

Hugh Douglass was the one bringing it up a year ago.  He still has some inside info but more so he brought up the facts...being he played the position.

" it doesn't make sense why Reddick isn't getting any offers from around the league based on his stats and the position he plays.  There has to be something going on within the locker room. "  that was about a year ago.

Then he mentions how Fangio likes his edge guys to drop some in coverage.

Then all through the summer he referenced the " some players only cared about themselves comments that were made about the 2023 team"

Then the agency fired Reddick.  Etc.

But you are probably right ....it was only Howie.   You know more than a former player with a local show and connections inside the team.

When you listen to the former players locally....Jon Ritchie, Ike Reese, Hugh Douglass...on there daily 4 hour shows..then Barrett Brooks on his local TV show... Jason Avant does multiple appearances for a few stations.  Kelce does plenty of radio.

You can tell they know stuff that they don't repeat 100% because they were once players and they don't want to break that trust.   But they hint things where the other hosts mention stuff and they subtly avoid giving an answer.

I doubt we see Reddick in the Eagles locker room again.   Never sat never, but a lot of things would have to change.

Siri does his weekly spots, Brandon Graham obviously... when we saw after the Carolina game.

I'm thinking about that we sign our own free agents... otherwise I'm not expecting much prior to the draft.

You made the point about the comp picks... signing other free agents that are quality enough to get some $$, they will cancel out comp picks.

Now is a good time to evaluate what e do with our own guys and keep following the combine news to get your draft information.

I wouldn't worry about knowing a " master plan"  right now.

Bradberry was obvious June cut...only question was if there needed to be an injury settlement.  Slay was either staying or being a June cut.

Do we tender Rodgers?  And for what level.   I can't imagine he just walks without us getting anything?

Jurgens, Dean, Davis and Calcatera... what about extensions.   Maybe Blankenship?

Do we push anyone else back " kick the can" to create cap space? I don't think so because i think Howie's last group of contracts all were built that way already.  Maybe Lane?

Then the possibility of a trade.  Because it doesn't change the comp picks.

Us letting our FAs go, only to cancel the comp picks out by signing Reddick types ( 3rd or 4th best options at the positions) makes no sense.    It's not impossible...but if trying to look at a " master plan"  ...that doesn't work.

Reddick had a bad agent. He’s probably going to be a poster boy for what can happen to a player with bad representation. Frankly that’s how we got him like we did in the first place. He fired him for Rosenhaus  now.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/caa-reportedly-drops-haason-reddick

Per multiple reports, CAA has parted ways with (a tactful way of saying "fired”) Reddick. Since one of the reports comes from Adam Schefter of ESPN, who is represented by CAA, it’s safe to say it’s accurate.

IDK... I posted this before... I think twice... but there is a refusal for it to get through one's head that Reddick was the problem.  He was fired... he wasn't the one who did the firing!  WAKE UP!

It must have happened very recently. The NFLPA website still shows Tory Dandy and Jimmy Sexton as Reddick’s agents of record. When a player and and agency go their separate ways (usually, it’s initiated by the player), the union updates the website promptly to show that the player is not represented.

There’s a five-day waiting period after the termination paperwork is submitted to the NFLPA. In this case, CAA will undoubtedly waive it, since they are the ones who want to make the change.

So Reddick is in the market for a new agency. The fact that it happened strongly suggests that Reddick has consistently declined to implement their advice.

Ok why don’t you actually just provide the resources supporting your statements with Fangio quotes stating how Reddick isn’t a good fit…or whatever. Instead of just trolling. I don’t really care like you do.

You need any more resources?   Or do you think Reddick fired his agent because he was getting bad advice.  Hasn't Jimmy Sexton been around for 40 years... he was Reggie White's agent.  Stop idolizing him and understand what happened when it was clear as day.

Reddick was the problem... he was full of himself.... none of the 32 teams wanted to pay him.  For months you acted like a baby trying to blame Howie in this... " Howie really showed him"   IDK... who came out better... Howie or Reddick?    How about the rest of the league... nobody wanted him for what he thought he was worth.

Congrats you didn't like Huff... wow not every move from Howie worked out.   Still saved cap overall and got a 3rd round pick from a $h@tshow of a franchise.  Cleared the way for the young guys to step up.

But lets see more posts about Huff... and incorrect ones about Reddick being a victim.   Remember 2022 Reddick... how about 2021 when Siri called plays.   Wait... the 2019 cap wasn't great.   Wake up and smell the coffee... stop being all negative and burying your head in the sand about this team.

The last two games we really saw what I thought this O could have been. How else were you to just assume it would all click like that…until it actually did click like that?

Week 7 to week 17 ...  points scored    ... .28, 37, 28, 34, 26, 37, 24,.... 22 vs Carolina   ... 27, ...... 36, 41  (70 points in 7 quarters without Hurts) ....

But the offense finally showed they were improving the last 2 games vs Wash and KC?

I wish we can have a coach hold us back like that every year!     30.9 points per game... with taking the foot off the gas due to being up big half of the time.    That's some phenomenal holding back from the coach to stop the team from implementing the "Moore O"

Just pure genius!    No agenda at all.    Other than Detroit when they were running up the score vs the scrub teams... nobody else scored more than 30.9 points per game in 2024.

But Siri was holding the offense back?

" Well No Mas... the motion and the percentage of motion and the plays under center.. and blah blah blah E= MC2"   And the Giants fan at the diner, and 2021 ...and the price of a cup of coffee in France ...etc.

Ohhh they have a master plan ranked and laid all out…trust me…even though you don’t believe it(while you point out otherwise about they’ve known about the Edge player need coming for awhile)
