Never a round 1. Jones was a 2 only because he got hurt and Howie took a shot that he would become a round 1 talent

Yeah that dept seems like it's been bad awhile. OR Howie overrides them. IDK which it is. Maybe people are annually pounding tables and Howie does Howie. Like his last few drafts and off seasons,but the history remains in place. He just won't make the jump

Then you will continually hunt for FA's because it's rare when UDFA's or post round 4 picks can produce at the level you want. Blank was a nice surprise,I admit that,but that's pretty rare. And you need to hope those players are available and they want to play here. Draftees have no choice,you got them for 4 years

Right, and none of them were drafted,all 3 were FA's. Jones did little here. Douglas was ok I suppose

Eagles have shown they will value RBs that are talented players… we paid Westy, paid McCoy(chipper opted to trade him not Howie) and now went out to pay Saquon. 
 

CB over S- how often has this ever been the case under Howie? We opted to go for S numerous different times not saying last year was the case but it’s and anomaly not the norm for the team.

and the same for the draft oh we don’t value CB or LB etc like we have drafted guys in the top 3 rounds over the years used the resources and failed…. It’s one thing to say we are bad at evaluating but another to say we don’t use the resources on them. 

Rosie kept trying to push the RB low priority agenda. But got Blunt and Ajayi and things went blockbuster. He failed running the back. 

Then the team had struggles rushing the ball. Finally had to seemingly admit the RB neglect was failing.

Ponied up to draft Sanders in the second to solve and fix that.

In the passing era of the NFL to point out two stud S we actually have fielded isn’t making any point towards him valuing the positions enough.

Can put three or four S on the field at once. So just having one guy doesn’t mean much to my point.
