Shipley has very good hands. YAC Creator for sure. He’s a physical runner that powers through …seems to always go down falling forward. But I wouldn’t refer to him as a bruising back. Has that burst to really make it happen.

If Ship was ready to go there is no need to sign Dillon

Idk that Dillon makes the team.  Let's relax with him at the moment.

They were getting Shipley involved in some two RB sets and some things that just didn’t pan out…then they adjusted the O. You had to pay attention…but they did make some effort just ti get that third Arab on the field. Then when he did get to touch the ball…boom! He’s a good player..I’m high on this RB. Dillon was signed to be number two at all. He’s exactly that RB that is a bowling ball filling that niche need for Barkley and Shipley. Really…he’s competing with the two young kids even for that role. Dillon is that bowling ball that can block, catch and do those short yardage runs….the banger back.

He had zero touches until garbage time week 7.   OMG he got on the field...  in contrast Gainwell was forced into the game plan with 4 carries..lol.

I think we know last year was a great red shirt year for Shipley... they are high on him and his work ethic.  Apparently he has a great relationship with Barkley and Gainwell, and was like a sponge learning from the two.

They expect him to get in better physical shape, similar to Nolan's jump from year 1 to year 2.   And he should take over as the #2, and get I'm there on passing downs.

Dillon won't be a lock to make the team, not sure he brings anything on special teams.

Pretty hilarious sideline reaction. They weren’t surprised at all.

I don’t know about much if any of this. It’s his second season. He isn’t overtaking Barkley…I mean..c’mon. But he’s a heck of a player!

Should be a good # 2 for 3 more years.

There is a need though…like I was even suggesting last season. He isn’t any threat to Shipley. Shipley is a dynamic playmaker. Just wait!

Yep gotta wait because he is so dynamic LOL. IDK where you come up with this stuff. he played 1/2 the snaps Gains did but Gains must have been more dynamic

Dillon isn’t close to Shipley…Dillon isn’t taking over as a starter if Bark goes down. Just not who he is. But good signing…he’s versatile and can do everything. Bring him in on those physical runs….to convert…and to beat up the D. Clearly have a role Dillon can fill. Block, convert the short yardage and wear down defenders trying to deal with him,

It's amazing your giving Howie such a compliment on his 4th round RB being just way better than Dillon.  Wasn’t Dillon drafted pretty high?

This is the guy DWD has been drooling over….

He's brutal and HUGE. I would have NP taking him first after the loss of CJG(yes I know have 2 starters)

Plenty happened last season. But early on there was a play or two almost specifically designed because we had Shipley..to get him on the field from Moore. He didn’t get the ball because of how things played out. But we had Moore’s O dialed back so quickly. Really I think it was just the work in progress of Moore combining the two O playbooks and meshing things together. Something that could never be realistically just accomplished in the offseason not being under fire.

That dynamic O line just keeps delivering

It’s no even so much about who’s second and third on the depth chart…it’s situational football.

With Barkley being the best option 99% of the time.

Nobody refers to Gainwell as dynamic

We’re built for this. Barkley and Shipley going this season going to romp on some people. Saq 2K wasn’t the end of things…there’s more.

Shipley is better than Sanders or Swift in my opinion

Wow... there was a play or two... wow!

Signed Harrison Bryant former Raider/browns TE could be mistaken him with another player but isn’t he a fairly good blocking TE?

But Shipley is based on 1/2 the snaps Gains got? It's all about the O line Benjamin

Even listening to them on the sideline…they weren’t surprised he made the big play….they’re already in discussions about how they’ve been working on him breaking away to close out and finish making the big plays.

It was all about Gainwell had a huge preseason leading up to the year and earned the backup job. Gainwell was Siri’s boy …being forced in even as a rookie. Gainwell’s gone now though…Shipley is a whole other level.

RIght, get any decent RB past level 2 and they are gone, yet this is surprisingly dynamic to you? I would also have liked Najee Harris

He's not at a level to surpass Bark,so it's a moot point

Yeah…even from the jump Moore recognized how dynamic a playmaker Shipley is. So he was already seating ways to get him on the field…putting two RB formations. Wasn’t really possible to ever jump ahead of Siri’s guy Gainwell…but he’s already surpassed Gainwell’s peak.
