Next guy up would be the homer-Chop Robinson. Probably could get him without moving. I had him on my mock for awhile, but IMO Latu is alot better

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laiatu_Latu So basically 2 years have gone by. Is it a risk? Possibly. Then again he is a top notch edge. Maybe another one falls we like better but we didn't have any more edge rushers in for a visit

Weren't Dickerson and Sweat injury risks?

The guy was not cleared at Washington…but then UCLA finds a way to clear him if he transfers to their school. Might not be fishy….but sure sounds that way.

Why is it fishy? You never got a second opinion before surgery ever??????(or in this case AFTER surgery) If one doc tells you you can't do something or you never will again, you just BUY it without another opinion?. If we select him you don't think our docs know what they are doing? Sounds to me like Washington just didn't want to be sued in the event they let him play and he got really hurt. Nothing fishy about not wanting to be sued. More Washington wussies is my take(on the other coast)

Anyone who dons a jersey on game day is an injury risk

I’ve never had surgery..so no I haven’t. But I’m sure in your fairy tale world all teams are just out to protect the best interests of their players always.

I thought GB said that Washington was trying to avoid being sued?  Wouldn't that mean the team is protecting...the team?

Have until May 2nd to extend DeVonta before having to make the fifth year option decision .

Just a guess by me,but makes sense. At any rate I assume we will do our due diligence. 2 years clear with no issues sounds like he is fine. A neck fusion isn't the end of the world,it's fairly straightforward. Protecting the university. Perhaps Washington had no disclaimer clause and UCLA did, thus one would clear him and the other wouldn't

You're the one who lives in Hamityville. It's WAY out past left field

He wanted to play and Washington would not let him,so he transferred to a school where he could play. It's not hard to figure out. He's my 1 pick at the moment.Like him hate him but it's a Howie pick,so if he picks Latu, Ham can hate him AND Howie at the same time. Ham would be in heaven

But didn't he actually play well the last couple of seasons after an injury...where he is projected to go round 1?

Don't they projected these things based on performance?   So what's the issue?

Are we still waiting on Lane Johnson to get suspended for PED use?   What like 8 years later???   At what point do you move on?

Ham has the issue,no one else seems to have one.

Never gives up on a play until it;s over. You can see he will run down RB's/ Non stop motor. Doesn't look hurt to me HAHA.. Very disruptive, even if he doesn't get to the QB he will disrupt the play

Hurts is a great runner...it's why he is in the league.

Most combined this....most rushing that...etc.

Passing...  ehhh a few levels behind the top guys.

But No Mas you don't understand the evolution of the game.   Yeah... Lamar and Hurts looked high on the evolutionary scale during the playoffs!
