All this…plus nervous as well. Got some pieces in place with this team that are for a win now approach. Whole puzzle needs to be assembled here for this season and the next. It isn’t there yet…by my judgement for sure.

Is anyone on record saying this team is complete at the moment?

Or do we have to go on record for the obvious?   We have young players and new players.   New coaches.  A QB who played like a mental midget...   certainly no where near any complete puzzle.

Not very smart thinking going on if the puzzle can’t be completed. These aren’t all rebuilding type moves. You don’t sign a high dollar veteran RB to top dollar….to do anything but be All In! Be stupid move just to try and repeat 11 win type season.

Brilliant….except they actually won the division over us last season. Or did you forget that HUGE DETAIL? 

I don’t wish to give any credit to our rival cowboys. But you’re just a blind fool if you believe we have been so much better than them since we won our SB.

????????     Why does everything have to be done all at once for you?  2017 we didn't have any of the RBs who played significant roles toward the end, didn't have our Nickel CB. Not sure when Darby even signed.   Was Long on the roster yet ...Foles?? The guy who recovered Brady's fumble wasn't drafted yet.

Like you always find a negative ( but No Mas it's reality) no it isn't.  Reality is we are a long way from a completed puzzle...reality is they all know it.

If the puzzle can't be completed THIS YEAR... what happens?  We lose Graham, Milton, and all the one year guys... why couldn't we be better next year using all the pieces we added and locked up long term ?

It's not like we are SF... shooting the load before they have to pat their QB and their best player turns 40.

How many seasons you riding on Lane, Saquan,Goedert…? Is a brilliant GM plan consisting of paying these guys top dollar to try and win a championship in 2027?

Lol.. everything going right.... everything going wrong for us....they won by a game.   They can never " complete the puzzle" because they are learning checkers when it comes to contracts.  Read the article....its from a Dallas perspective.

They draft well... their inability to understand the business side of the game...has been preventing them from " completing your puzzles.".. jigsaw,  crossword or any other type!

Imagine the Eagles had nothing on the roster drafted between Lane Johnson 1st pick of 2013.. and Dallas Goedert 1st pick of 2018.... the crap 2019 draft... and Dallas hasn't been as good.  Every year since the 2016 season the Eagles have been playing while Dallas has already finished their season.    

Imagine it the Eagles could draft?   Or Imagine from a Dallas viewpoint...they could only write contracts correctly?

Idk...what seems more difficult?  Picking the right college guys... or simply understanding basic business?

I think more people on the planet can do simple business.  Selecting players for an NFL team seems way more hit and miss...even for the best draft experts.

It's only been 30 years with a salary cap....  you should figure it out a little by now?

I never said Dallas was doing contracts great. Not a word ever came out my mouth saying that. But you…and the article writer aren’t even processing the main failures of how Jones is setting all this up on himself. It starts all before anything either of you has brought up. It was dumb to trade for Amari Cooper to boost Dak so high. Dumb to put Ceedee in such an obvious situation for him to be boosted so high. He’s been setting these guys up to succeed in asking for top contracts. Creating fairly ideal situations for them in contract season situations.

Been one game difference between us and the cowboys every season here to determine the Division winner. As much as I’m so clearly on the Eagles side and against the cowboys….I’m just not that blinded by being that much of a Homer to not recognize this.

It’s not them I root for. I need our team to complete the Championship Puzzle. That’s my concern.

Signing a top dollar vet RB just to sell tickets and not suck doesn’t resonate positively with me. To be a legit contender? That I’m all aboard for.

Keep working on figuring out all the roles a GM needs to perform. That’s been around much longer than just 30 years. You should have figured out more than a little of those by now.

Lane is paid until 2026. ..I expect him to play until then.  He said he was going to...and they extended him with nice money until then with new money when it wasn't necessary to do so.

Sorry if my standards of wishing to root for a contending team are too steep for you. If all you wish for is the team to sell tickets and go for reaching the 22nd pick? Then I’m sure you are very happy. Just not how I look at things.

Btw...there was no addition to the puzzle today.  Today was about the business side.   

Which I've continually said here....the business side done properly allows them to take more swings...  doesn't mean they connect or hit with each move....but for the life of me...I can't figure out how anyone wouldn't want his team to be able to make more moves?

Constant whining about failed move or this and that....this article puts things in perspective from outside our fanbase.  Imagine your team always drafts the right guys...hypes up all the superstars at each position.   But can't get to a championship game?  Because they go a decade without being able to sign free agents....meanwhile your rival who hits on draft picks way less....can have more real success...gets to Superbowls etc... simply because they can spend money and make moves.

Which team would you rather be a fan of?   One team has a chance to get the puzzle completed ...the other doesn't. 

Unless your goal is 11 or 12 regular season wins before you lose to the real competition in the playoffs. 

Is there a mystery about if Dallas wants to sign Lamb?  He should have been extended LAST YEAR.   

Pollard was not a $10.7 million cap hit level RB.   Dak isn't a $95 mil cap hit for one season type of QB . Lawrence hasn't performed to his cap hit.  

They never do the business side right. Congrats on winning some regular season games and a division title every so often.  Go to the local community College and take a business course... probably will help them more than watching any draft film.
