For the first time in his nearly nine-year NFL career, Cooper Kupp is learning a whole new offense after he signed with the Seattle Seahawks this offseason following his departure from the Los Angeles Rams.

You can basically thanks the Saints...for Dean, Carter and DeJean too. 2022 3rd ( Dean) 2023 1st ( Carter) 2024 2nd ( DeJean)

Completely fleeced the Saints due to their eagerness to get the instant satisfaction of a current year draft back in 2022.

We know.... we all knew that from the beginning... except for one guy who only is a fan of one player that apparently thought the only reason why the Eagles made the trade was to replace his favorite player.

You make that trade EVERY YEAR... Then each year you end up with an extra 2nd and 3rd round pick. Very easy to see why it's a great trade. Taking advantage of desperate team needing instant satisfaction

First guy to ever change teams is he?

Hurts hasn’t changed teams

Agreed 100%. Howie doing what Howie does well.

With that said, starting the process from Pick #16 (or even #19) it is a whole lot easier than when you start with Pick #32. However, #32 does have special leverage for a team looking to get the 5th year option that comes with a 1st Round pick. Howie knows very well how to take advantage of leverage.

Gotta remember there were limited WRs to grab. Rosie struck out on all the FAs like the Saints. So we would have needed to trade up for Olave as well…if we didn’t have some special leader go find and recruit us an absolute beast!

Trying to remember who was in that draft at WR. Like three WR then it was a huge dropoff to the guy the Titans ended up talking …who I really didn’t care for. Don’t think he’s done anything either. So really really worked out for us. Think it was Burks. We almost definitely would have taken him too. Unless we traded up for Olave like the Saints.

Except one got sho was already pondering how we needed to make a trade to grab a top ten pick so we could find a way to grab Jalen Carter. A team dumb enough to trade like they were contenders…but would end up top ten instead. Worked out well!!!

Hurts wasn’t my favorite player. But it was actually everybody but me that was thinking we needed to grab another franchise QB next draft. Rosie…all the fans….I was the ONLY ONE….not believing we needed a QB. So terrible take shoving wrong words in my mouth…again..again..again. Like seems to be all you do anymore. Why can’t you just actually use the words I do say?

He’s making up lies. I think if you’ve figured anything out by now…it’s that I was the ONE guy who actually knew we had our QB already.

See actually my issue was we were completely setup to make a great run at a Championship. Most teams go All In. They take on a couple old guys just for one season…but they trade future draft picks to get them over the top. So I was hesitant unless that pick turned out to be top ten. Really it was very singular mission for me..I was all about getting Jalen Carter. Was dead set on him a year earlier than he actually came out in the draft.

My idea was to trade back and there was a really good group of like four S around the beggining of the second round. So I wanted to draft a S.

Remember who was in our S room then? Yeah….nobody!!!!!

So a S wasn’t just a bandaid …he was short and long term need. Which seems like we just finally came back around to addressing finally. Thank you Fangio!!!!!

I’m the last one needs to be told about it. Hurts brought in AJ. A little speeding incident dropped Carter back to 9. I was talking about Carter as the best player to draft….a year before he entered the draft.

But….we lost the SB by 3 freaking points. Would a S have made the difference? Really hard to believe it wouldn’t have really.

But now we got Carter. So instead of stuck giving up everything going All In…one season…we rolling on our first ever Dynasty!!!

I was thinking as an option we could have traded back to early second round. So still added picks. But drafted top S. There was a tier of four S options that draft fought there. But….all along I was scheming of how to gut somebody for a top ten pick. Which is exactly what Rosie accomplished grabbing from the Saints. Not usually one player focused so much. But Jalen Carter I knew was huge.

But…it was definitely the popular opinion belief Rosie was loading up to go after the franchise QB in 2022. Trust me …all I was hearing…along with all the other nonbeliever in Hurts. Nobody was sold on Hurts as the franchise QB for sure. I couldn’t find anybody even believed he was starter material.

Rosie had stockpiled all that draft ammo. Traded off his franchise QB. GM wasn’t forcing the HC to treat Hurts like he should be prioritized like a Franchise QB either. Then Rosie was scouting Pickett like a fiend. Terrible QB class…that draft. I mean Pickett looked like he needed to be developed to be a backup QB to me.

Our whole franchise was changed and saved in 2021 by the impossible Hurts pulled off. Nobody could have survived that season. AJ never would have been an Eagles. Pickett would have been franchise QB. Siri doesn’t get a second season most likely.
