That’s why the whole thing should be blown up. Start up top and move on from Rosie. Offense and defense are starting fresh anyway… so clean all the failed coaches and GM out the door. Put together a group that can bring home the parade this time in the next three seasons.

Again....smaller scale.   Going forward...the big picture.   Does it make sense to find a new puppet?   Or easier to justify keeping same guy with the 3 year track record...you make other changes as the excuse.  Easier to justify that....or else the alternative was to hire  perceived more qualified coach... that guy isn't going to be a puppet. 

You can't fire Siri for " a passing game coordinator "  or some other up and coming guy... not after the success of the last 3 years.   Just would seem like a panic move.  

So the alternative is giving up control to an established coach...which they just could have done with Doug.

Obviously Lurie and Howie think they know what they are doing....doing it their way.  They aren't going to change.

You can bet the splash is going to be with the coordinators.  Consults....committee ...etc.  whatever new wave idea.   

I'm going to be more focused on the roster.  After they cut Byard, they have $41 mil of cap space.... Reddick gets extended to save some cap.... and then we see from there.  Dickerson and Smith should get locked up long term in the spring too.

I think it is very interesting to ponder. Even moving to get that kid I like from Wash Penix. They had him ranked right around our actual pick now. But I find it hard to believe he doesn’t move up significantly come draft day.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Lurie reached out to Bellicheck. Him declining to work with Rosie then might have made the decision for him to try and stick with Siri.
