Otherwise, they gotta find another yes man. That's not Vrabel, Belicheck or Carroll. But I'm the clown because I pointed out the obvious. 40 pages of everyone trying to convince me 2023 sucked ... Like it wasn't obvious. They aren't going to fire a puppet who did everything they wanted... obviously they are going to tell the puppet to change things...ie new coaches or whatever. But the puppet stays. " but Joe...collapse...etc. But everyone...Doug wins a SB and they don't let him make decisions...why do you think 2023 was all Siri decisions? That’s why the whole thing should be blown up. Start up top and move on from Rosie. Offense and defense are starting fresh anyway… so clean all the failed coaches and GM out the door. Put together a group that can bring home the parade this time in the next three seasons.

We played those hard. The big picture is we only one 1 game out of the last 6 and got drubbed in round 1 by TB. There is no bigger picture for me. Now we will retain many players from the collapse,so what happens in 24? That's the big picture for me regardless of who calls the shots. If there was failure at the end of '23 then '24 won't be any better Again....smaller scale. Going forward...the big picture. Does it make sense to find a new puppet? Or easier to justify keeping same guy with the 3 year track record...you make other changes as the excuse. Easier to justify that....or else the alternative was to hire perceived more qualified coach... that guy isn't going to be a puppet.
January 20, 20242 yr You can't fire Siri for " a passing game coordinator " or some other up and coming guy... not after the success of the last 3 years. Just would seem like a panic move. So the alternative is giving up control to an established coach...which they just could have done with Doug. Obviously Lurie and Howie think they know what they are doing....doing it their way. They aren't going to change.

January 21, 20242 yr 5 minutes ago, GreenbleedinNC said: "According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, the Cowboys and Eagles are sticking with their head coaches because Belichick rejected their offers." Article from Sports Dumpster so IDK if this is fake or real lol there is stalwart truth that the eagles are leaning toward keeping Siri and changing the DC… that was from Adam Schefter(probably spelled his name wrong lol) no word on OC though
January 21, 20242 yr 50 minutes ago, GreenbleedinNC said: I only mentioned Carroll because we can't beat the Hawks LOL. as a "consultant" if nobody else hires him as a HC I would look at him for DC. It can't get worse after this seasons ending You can bet the splash is going to be with the coordinators. Consults....committee ...etc. whatever new wave idea. I'm going to be more focused on the roster. After they cut Byard, they have $41 mil of cap space.... Reddick gets extended to save some cap.... and then we see from there. Dickerson and Smith should get locked up long term in the spring too.

Get Caleb Williams/Drake Maye whoever you have as the top QB or get Fields and draft Harrison Jr at #1???? I think it is very interesting to ponder. Even moving to get that kid I like from Wash Penix. They had him ranked right around our actual pick now. But I find it hard to believe he doesn’t move up significantly come draft day.

We knew he wasn't a prolific passer but saw alot of under throws and guys waving downfield he never saw I think that play puts a bunch of abuse on our players running it.

January 21, 20242 yr Wouldn’t surprise me if Lurie reached out to Bellicheck. Him declining to work with Rosie then might have made the decision for him to try and stick with Siri.

January 21, 20242 yr In fact, six years ago during Super Bowl LII Week, The Philadelphia Inquirer noted, "Lurie has never hid his admiration for the Patriots, but his appreciation for and emulation of them hasn't been about hometown nostalgia as much as the way they established and maintained such a high standard of excellence for so long.

January 21, 20242 yr 28 minutes ago, joemas6 said: He admires what they did....past tense....no shot he hires Belicheck in 2024. Lurie moves forward.... trying to be smartest guy in the room means finding the new coach.... not any retread. Should be about what it takes to win it all the next few seasons.
