The fourth QB has to go through waivers after being cut … unless he is a vested veteran.I was saying it would have been the wise move to keep Pickett this season…considering the thinking of trading McKee. Of course then we actually had the first PS game performance. But…DTR seems to be playing his best thanks to the QB Factory now also. So…he might just be stepping up to be a quality backup QB option. One that possibly is more similar to our starter to fit in more seamlessly.

But hey…Brady really read the D really well at a young age by all that cheating paying off. Hurts just wasn’t trying hard enough.

Dallas was a top franchise at the time value wise. Their first Mexican broadcast was 1969... 20 years prior to Jerry. They were coined America's team in the 70s. In 1979 Bob Ryan was credited with the name America's team as he used it to describe their popularity with their wide fan base. Was used during their 1978 highlights film.Tex Schramm and Tom Landry were staples in football culture. Jerry purchased the Cowboys for a record price in 1989. Because he knew it was a cash cow! Football is king in Texas, the Cowboys were the hot team for 2 decades.. the cheerleaders were world famous. He didn't do squat.... if anyone says this in front of football fans that Jerry made the Cowboys...they will get laughed at...very badly

I said anything about guarantees?Do you think the Eagles have a better shot at winning the SB with McKee on the roster ...very day at practice and being there incase Hurts misses time? Or not? Then this really huge ASSumption McKee's value is highest now?So many differing answers to this. Who knows what the correct answer ends up being? If you are so worried we don’t have a legit backup QB being your main concern? Then you blame Rosie for the bone headed trade away of Pickett. But it’s real possible DTR can step up to the role..when needed(depending on just what is needed obviously).
August 14, 2025Aug 14 FL posted AI answering who would he DPOY. It was Myles Garrett…for the Lions. Now would the draft ammo from trading McKee help or hurt being able to afford to make that happen as an Eagles instead?

Something No Mas states players have zero power to make happen. No mas states....Tanner McKee has zero power... No Mas has specifically said this multiple times ...but ham and cheesy continues to constantly lie and put words in people's mouthSo one final time for Ham and cheesy.... Tanner McKee is a nobody in the NFL... he has zero power over Howie Roseman and Jeff Lurie. Not a former starter or first round pick that lost his job like Pickett did. Tanner McKee was just promoted by the Eagles...not demoted like Pickett was in Pittsburgh who was looking to move on to Wilson and Fields.

If he doesn't play, his stock can't drop below the current threshold. It would slightly increase if a team is in need of a starting QB.It only decreases if anything bad happens…

Now trading away Pickett is why you have concerns surrounding trading McKee for such great returns. Basically just a total clusterF of two straight bad moves by Rosie.

Wonder how many outside CBs made the list? Curious as to if it works like anything else... the perceived better players get more money. Now with DeJean already on the list... one would be extremely stupid to not understand that DeJean is going to get paid big time money if he keeps it up... top CB money... Will it be top 5 CB money, top 10... idk ..but he will get paid much higher than 3/4 or more of the starting outside CBs across the league

A player with two years of control at a bargain price is worth more than a player with one year of control at a bargain price.Further, a player with a looming contract negotiation (and impending UFA status) is worth less than a player without those looming events.Agree otherwise this. Exactly making McKee an incredible trade piece for Rosie to negotiate with. He needs to stir up the bidding war pot as much as he can get boiling.

I see a quality backup for dirt cheap. We have had some expensive ones...you can't get that cap space back... Chase Daniel, Marcus Mariota.. you could sign a quality free agent if neither was ever signed here. McKee on the dirt cheap is a win for sure
