Pittsburgh made Pickett their backup QB. Pickett instead forced his way out by trade to this team called the Philadelphia Eagles. Yes…it does feel so dumb that I need to explain all of this. Like I’m teaching ancient history…or at least something that happened not related to our own team. So a backup QB with two years remaining on his rookie contract does have some leverage of the situation. It’s in McKee’s best interests to get his own team to lead as the starting QB. He then gets the opportunity to earn that bank truck of money extension at the earliest possible opportunity.

There are other "nobody day three picks” I could teach you about since there is no way you’ve ever heard of them. We can start with Tom Brady and Jason Kelce. You will be floored with what they accomplished…only being day three picks. Spoiler: they became starting players for a game.

But did provide us with the answer about what Rosie concluded about him after his extensive scouting of him that last year of college.
