August 15, 2025Aug 15 I believe all that Hurts is about and doing exactly applies to your way of misthinking FL. Right in front of your face this whole time. What you believed was everything and important…was misguided.

August 15, 2025Aug 15 Fangio isn’t thrilled with our Edge depth. Outside of Uche saying he hasn’t seen anything else.
August 15, 2025Aug 15 Toth coming in to start for Dickerson. Just really wasn’t thinking he was that guy.

August 15, 2025Aug 15 Jerry Jeudy beat Q on a slant for a TD. Rough…but knew Jeudy was better than believed by others here. Crap situation he went through early in the NFL.
August 15, 2025Aug 15 Draft pick TE Fanin looking good for the Browns against us. Forgot he went there.
August 15, 2025Aug 15 Really just a reality check for sure. We aren’t the same team as last season. Very overconfident about things. Especially us fans.
August 15, 2025Aug 15 We aren’t as dominant run blocking up front. Plus we caught breaks with injuries and the bye last season. Becton game actually played towards wearing down opponents more than how great he is with everything.
August 15, 2025Aug 15 Loss of Moore and Coach Doug matters. But also it was all being added in new last season as we went. So teams couldn’t study and develop strategies to combat it yet.
August 15, 2025Aug 15 Slay and Ceedy Duce had that vet swagger. Respect earned that opponents weren’t totally confident to attack. Now we have clear weaknesses they are confident to attack us on.

Yet it is clearly by differing means than has been believed and defined traditionally. He is not a god Ham,he worked hard for5 years to get this level, like ANY successful QB has to do. He rewrote ZERO scripts, he merely followed the scripts that other QB's also had to follow. I really don't know where you dream up all this stuff. Hurts had issues as most rookies do. The NFL is at a different level. He put in the work, worked for years correcting his mistakes, learning. Failing at times but failure is part of the learning process. No one on here hates Hurts. He worked very hard to get to the level Joe and myself expected him to reach. There were many rocky areas he had to clean up and one by one he got rid of his nemesis points. he began to trust not only himself, but his O line and receivers and he has some of the best in the league. He learned the game wasn't on him,he learned they were TOOLS for him to USE and he started putting that together last year. He erased the bonehead plays he used to make. There were no big droops in the last SB by Hurts. he used his legs and teams know he can take off on them at any time. His passes grew crisper and more accurate, exactly the things Joe and I harped on. he did not carry the team on his back,he learned he didn't need to,that his players had jobs to do and did them just like him. That was when we became a polished and dominant team when all those things were put together. Hurts went through the same processes all the good QB's had to go through,so there was no re writing the script. Still a few more things for him to learn and I think he will learn them. McKee is 2 years behind the learning curve, but he is picking up this offense quickly even gouging the Bengals for a tush push, which is very difficult to do with a 6'6" QB,but he showed he could do it getting tips from Hurts. Hurts is not a god,he is now a very good QB and he should continue to be for many years if can keep the surrounding cast up to par. Hurts is a QB,but will never be a god I worship. He is part of the 11 guys on offense. They ALL make the machine work. So I'm done talking about Hurts, he is our QB,that's all I need to know, but I will commend all the players around him, that give him the tools he needs, not just ONE guy. It's ridiculous to even think that. Take my opinion as you will, but it's not changing. I trust the FO to play the players they want played, but none are gods and never will be

As long as we stick to the run and make the opponent focus on stopping the run... everything builds from there.... passing game is more effective and keeps the Defense off the field limiting the opponent's possessions..... and limits our turnovers. You and I disagreed on 2nd half ball control...as you focused on 30 points where I was looking at it from the opponent's point of view in how tough we were to come back to beat if we had a lead at half-time, if the opponent only had the ball 2 or 3 possessions. This is the formula... the script... which makes us difficult to beat
August 16, 2025Aug 16 Btw...just checking in as im up the Poconos on vacation... 2 things...shout out to Pocono DonAnd also to mention I didn't ...nor will i read the long conversation Ham just had with himself.. so just wanted to be clear that I didn't make any wagers the last two pages here.
