Also... not sure what you guys outside the area have been able to hear or see...but Miles Garrett is an absolute specimen...and im not talking him being an Italian astronaut either... dude is a freak physically.

Good example of when you combine the God given ability with a work ethic to get your body in absolute best possible condition..of how it pays off.

That guy alone puts the Cleveland D on the map.

From the videos and talk on the radio here locally... these joint practices tell us what a lot of people thought regarding the offense

Without AJ....the passing game struggles... we can see over the games he has missed how our point production goes down

Stout is a stud OL coach. Apparently the main bright spot during these joint practices is our OL opening up running lanes. If it were a real game, you can see how the formula would be to use the running game.

The other thing is we know teams will be giving us their absolute best intensity all season.

This seems to be the script. As long as we stick to the run and make the opponent focus on stopping the run... everything builds from there.... passing game is more effective and keeps the Defense off the field limiting the opponent's possessions..... and limits our turnovers.

You and I disagreed on 2nd half ball control...as you focused on 30 points where I was looking at it from the opponent's point of view in how tough we were to come back to beat if we had a lead at half-time, if the opponent only had the ball 2 or 3 possessions.

This is the formula... the script... which makes us difficult to beat

hurts rewrote the script to become a good QB. It's never been done before 🤣

Smitty too, when he was out Hurts struggled, but it's not Hurts, it's everyone else messing him up or not being there. He rewrote the script you know? Hurts has carried this team for 5 years on his back

My honeymoon was in the Poconos at a place called Cove Haven. Have a great time. I hope you get the game wherever you are

More than just missing AJ. But Smitty getting locked down. Rare. No Lane and no Dickerson. Mailata getting whooped.

Not just the O however…our D got whooped also

According to ESPN Research, over the past five seasons, only three receivers 31 years or older have played at least 10 games and averaged 70-plus receiving yards per game; six have averaged 60-plus."

Will be interesting at 1 PM to see who is at CB and S and if the O line can even hold

So first Browns series. What I'm seeing is(and I know it's not the 1's) is only minor disruptions from the D line and even when they get pressure there is no containment. The Browns are pretty much doing whatever they want and executing. The secondary is a step behind the Browns receivers and are not any threat to pick them off or break up the play. A little disappointing, but we also know they feel the opponent out and I expect some adjustments

You don’t do that in PS. Usually come out fairly vanilla

Sounding really bad. I’m not getting the game but checked in on some play by play. Eagles looking like 💩

Mukuba it’s being said has been playing well

Smitty got locked down at joint practice by Ward.

Not buying that. When you look horrible you make adjustments and that never happened at ALL. If you are failing at vanilla, you'd better try some butter pecan

In the "who cares who QB 3 is" competition, I can truly say, after watching, is "I don't care". For a QB with experience T-R was horrible. At least McCord has a rookie excuse and neither even got me to the right amount of "whelming". Both were under. There was nothing special about special teams. If you replaced them all it would not bother me a bit. Outclassed in every aspect. Supposed to be seeing players separate from the packs to win jobs and I'm not seeing it(maybe ASmith). Still clear as mud. I hope the staff has more info than I saw. the Makuba pick was the days highlight. Most of the rest were lowlights. It was so thrilling I even dozed off for a few mins LOL. The first pre game actually showed me more. From a fan perspective, my takeaway today was "needs major overhaul" or "back to the drawing board" which I was not expecting to say today. And while there were no expectations of a superbly polished machine, the gear grinding I saw today was a little alarming. At some positions you may as well draw straws to see who stays, or have a monkey throw darts at a dartboard. Even Dillon was underwhelming. I was severely disappointed overall. Makuba and Campbell were worth their draft spots(but they should be). The rest of "the clan" was just poor

Vanilla is not the problem, EXECUTING vanilla WAS

IMO ASmith did enough(finally) to get a spot. Wilson looked fine when he played so he should be in. So for me AJ. Smitty, Dotson, Wilson, ASmith. Pick your last roster spot and one for the PS

"Montrell Johnson Jr. was the second running back to take carries. He ran with some juice, just like he did earlier in training camp before missing time due to injury.

Keilan Robinson was the third running back to touch the ball." From the above article. my takeaway is who gives a ish at RB. Dillon probably stays since we [paid him(although I can't see why at this point". MJ has maybe the most promise(JMO),but there is no point if he can't stay on the field. With a horrible lack of offensive production I don't see how decisions can be made(aka as pick who you want on the PS) Vert lackluster performance today. Gotta be some real head scratching going on for the staff with literally NOTHING to go on. IDK what did anyone else see? Because I didn't see enough to make any decisions by. Not that I have any control, but lord there is ZERO way to make decisions when everyone sucks
