Hopefully just as much attention to neutral zone infractions.

Likely not this will just end up leading to the tush push being banned at the end of the year….likely make it damn near impossible for us to run the play this year as well sure they will be flagging us for every tiny thing

I said before it's a little frustrating that we can't go 10 yards in 3 plays. We had like 6 or 7 tush pushes. IDK to me it's a more effective QB sneak. SO how does one define when a QB sneak becomes a tush push. You would have to penalize guys for "running into" your own guys LOL

The push from behind go watch old QB sneaks they didn’t have two players directly behind the QB pushing him forward….

Granted the results we nearly identical we were still like a 90% success rate team with the QB sneak before the push so not much changes…. Just gives the D a slightly better chances at stopping it

Right, so the refs would have to flag "running into your own teammate" or "pushing your own teammate" as the foul. It would have to be a new infraction IMO. Bubble ball by 2029

The game is slowly turning into a prima donna ballet rather than an "in your face" physical challenge. I remember back when guys played with broken noses and bloody lips for $300.00 a game

Many of the HOFers wouldn't be in the HOF if they had to deal with todays rules

I don’t think so would literally just be on the QB sneak banning players from pushing him from behind…. It’s like hurdling players can still hurdle but it’s illegal for ST to hurdle over the OL to block a kick.

I’m honestly thinking the officiating going to end up resulting in us going away from the tush push for the reminder of the season…Think they are going to look to throw the flag on us for any little thing essentially trying to kill the play before they officially ban it in the offseason

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)

OUT

RB Will Shipley (oblique)

QUESTIONABLE

QB Tanner McKee (right thumb)

Goedert will play.

https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/news/158872/eagles-rams-final-injury-report-dallas-goedert-will-play

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams offensive lineman Steve Avila (ankle) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia (10 a.m. PT, FOX).

Meanwhile, defensive end Braden Fiske (oblique) and tight end Colby Parkinson (shoulder) are questionable.

"I think the expectations are we're hopeful that he'll (Fiske) be ready to go," McVay said. "Same thing with Colby, and then it's a little bit less likely with Steve, but we'll leave the options open."

We’ll see just how much Goodell inserts himself on this situation after he lost the vote this offseason.

The league is already inserting themselves sending out training tape on the missed false starts to officials and the 32 teams.

I’ll make the prediction that we get flagged more on the tush push then the play is successful this week for us

@mattwill SCORE PREDICTION

Eagles 27, Rams 24 - Hurts has 2 passing TD's, AJ gets his 1st of the season.

The Rams should be overcompensating to stop Barkley and the run game. The run game will still be effective and this week the passing game should start to blossom.

If that happens how do you see this game?

Do you predict an Eagle's W?

I see Coach Stoutland stressing to players on the line of scrimmage to be mindful of watching how they line up this week in practice. Definitely though ALL eyes of the officiating crew will be on this play. I just hope we don't see any wrongful false start penalty called.

Interesting to see what Vikings bright O mind can do with Wentz

We have had the Rams number for the last few seasons so I’d like to predict a win… lot of variables depends on if/when penalties happen… 4th down 1 yard away from a TD and we get flagged on the tush push how will that alter the game instead of 7 points we likely only get 3…

Instead of converting a 3rd & 1 or 4th & 1 normally guaranteed 1st extending a drive penalty could force a punt.

Because you need a balance and we need to show we can do that

Just what I'll be watching for

IDK if the fans start booing because we aren't passing, that could put Siri in Luries office. A run of the mill fan doesn't just want to win, they want to win it their way, Philly fans are fickle LOL. I am not privvy to inside info, but Lurie has to be asking Patullo and Siri why he is paying out big bucks for AJ with no stat line

I suspect we see fewer TP's now that Goedert is back. IDK Smitty has a small stat line AJ disappeared, as has Dotson and the slot. We could be 0-2 if Lamb and Kelce don't drop the ball. Luck will only go so far. And while I am not a downer,I would like to see a more balanced attack going forward

Idk... I think we end up running it more this year just because it bothers everyone. Really they only needed to call the two obvious false starts. Which again, tur QB sneak has been around forever with the tight alignment and both teams looking to get the jump. This has nothing to do with the push itself

So clean up a couple of calls and go from there. We will still run it. Watch for a fake coming up though.

He should insert himself in front of Dickerson
