However, that open relationship had its boundaries. We could talk about culture and startegic direction, and even specific strategic initiatives, but as soon as the conversation moved down a level from strategy to tactics/operation, we both explicitly knew that I had to work up through the chain of command. That is how corporations work. Ham doesn't seem to undrstand that, or he hasn't had to work within a hierarchically structured organization.
October 5, 20251 yr Author Watching Max Klare the OSU TE. He's pretty good. Blocking skills needs work like most college kids,but he's a great target. I doubt we waste a high pick on him though. If he is around in round 3 I would take a shot,but I don't see him lasting that long

But the boss is the boss and you do it however they want to do it. I had bosses that would get mad if you didn;t come to them directly and those that got mad if you didn;t go to your immediate superior. It's just faster to go right to the decisionmakers. Sometimes the big boss if fine handing that off if he trusts his underlings enough
