If we polled 49er fans... you could have one member of the Eagles organization to replace one of yours... who do you thibk would get more votes.. Hurts replacing Purdy or Howie replacing John Lynch?

all kidding aside, what a roller coaster game. i would hope the play calling keeps getting better and we get a full game of it.

Listening to a lot of local people here, including the beat wtiters... it seems like they think that the Eagles didn't do anything differently in the 2nd half as far as routes, concepts, etc. They said the same stuff was there in the first half.

They aren't sure what was the issue... some combination of the coaching and Hurts being unwilling to pull the trigger.

Unlike 2023 ( the angry media season) it seems they are understanding part of it now. " they know they win when they don't turn the ball over" " Jalen likes to take care of the ball"

AL'S comment about letting the killers do their thing... the media was commenting that it's the skill position guys as the killers.

So... what it seems here, it looks like unlike 2023, right now we have everyone on the same page. Remember Patullo was the passing game coordinator. You would assume that he likes to pass.

We can definitely assume both Siri and Hurts like it when we take care of the ball.

Mailata also was asked about " conservative play calling " his answer was in the first half we weren't executing ( we = the blocking) and so how can the play calling trust us to be aggressive if we can't execute?

Again... whatever the issues are... unlike 2023... it seems like everyone is on the same page... that's winning culture.

I also want to add that im really impressed by our QB. He seems to understand he is part of the problem and that he has to play more aggressively... not " play not to lose"

While Ham can't admit his QB ever makes any mistakes... it's irrelevant, an organization from top to bottom that understands when it makes mistakes and talk about it freely ( in house) is a winning culture. Compared to any organization that has people in it that don't take their share of the blame.

I think the pride thing and relationship with Brian Johnson was an issue... I absolutely believe Lurie stepped in after 2023 and laid down the law, everyone on same page and lets go. That's Howie, Siri, Hurts and everyone else following...and adding Big Dom to help.

You can see why guys like Reddick and CGJ weren't a long term fit for the culture. You can also see where a guy like AJ is a locker room favorite... everyone else complains for him, yet he just keeps his head down knowing his is coming.

Reading CG's been a locker room problem child, supposedly he was here as well.

Mike Evans out for TB this week.

Jackson and Bennett may be out for us.

He forced his way on the field in a very stacked lineup…ahead of Young and Hall.

Or alternatively Trader Howie wanted to get an update on just how much trade value Booker represented.

Thomas Booker 2025 through 3 games

115 snaps with an overall grade of 62.3. That is 74th out of 169 DL

53 run snaps with a grade of 57.5. 85th out of 169

62 pass rush snaps with a grade of 69.0. 42nd out of 169

3 solo tackles

2 assists

1 forced fumble

1 batted pass

1 QB hit

Now do the same for Byron Young.

The impact of Pryor’s inadequacy at RT can’t be underestimated.

That is consistent with the assessment of Pryor as inadequate

The difference between Pryor and Fred Johnson was immense! If you don’t believe me, believe Tra.

If you are stuck in neutral, you should not be driving. Most team are different than last years vids. if the coaches stay the same you can see "trends" on what they do. of course most offenses are also different to some degree or another,so opposing DC's are also using "old vids" LOL

Week 1 is always a crap shoot. You need to see how your team responds to things you see different than last year. As the weeks go by you update your "library". Back to the stuck in neutral. Did Hurts audible away from the passing game? He said the 2nd half was what he wants the O to look like, but he never said why the first 1/2 was so vanilla. Hurts did put the blame on himself as he usually does. I'm sorry. but if you play vanilla vs TB you aren't going to win. Of course on the flip side you can suck D's into thinking that's how the whole game will go, then start hitting things up like we just did. So pick your chess match
