i never said hurts wasnt great in that game, nor have i hated on hurts, so take that silly strawman and shove it, sparky. i simply acknowledged what we all witnessed on the field.

but how was hurts great if nick has stunted his growth as a qb so much?

Welcome to the Hurts hater club. It's comprised of everyone not named Ham and eggs

What does Hurts need to develop in your opinion?

Excellent question. One worth repeating. Ham, what does Hurts need to develop in your opinion?

What is do think needs to be talked more about is how long it took our offense last year to gets its footing with a proven OC we struggled until after the bye….

Patullo is a rookie play caller first time ever doing it been rough patches but glimpses as well nearly if not perfect in the RZ

Once we get some things strung together not shooting ourlseves in the foot with penalties we have found success moving the ball

And this is with a ground game that isn’t working OL can’t block anyone right now Saquon getting hit in the backfield over 50% of his snaps only Ashton Jeanty is getting hit more often in the backfield

Dickerson not being 100% and Lane being in and out is clearly not helping and Steen been ok but clearly isn’t Becton as a run blocker

Yet Steichen ran Siri offense and they thrived just fine how is his Xs and Os terrible and has no clue what he is doing yet it works with a good play caller… the O didn’t just change because Steichen took play calling duties over the scheme was the same.

Again Siri horrible play caller why I don’t like him with rookie play callers Johnson/Patullo but his scheme has worked Steichen two years, Moore last year

I would also prefer an experienced OC. Howie weighed the fact Patullo was here 5 years watching over others shoulders. If Howie felt he was not the guy we would have someone else. That being said, you can watch all you want but hands on is a different thing. The O line is not the O line from last year and Patullo has to deal with that FACT

he stunted his throw

TJ Slaton owned Dickerson two straight plays creating the whole situation, but yeah…if the QB doesn’t finish his throw? Of course it will lack zip and float long enough for the far S to make the pick:

By what measure?

Yea because the S over the top the defender underneath oh and the 3rd S coming across the field says that was a good read but yea lets keep blaming Dickerson for that bad read

On top of that Ham blames Dickerson for the factual reality that Hurts had to rush the throw, but then turns around and says that rush allowed the DBs enough time to close the distance in order to convert the coverage to triple covered. Quick throws eliminate distance closing time, not extend it.

He is not a first time HC. We signed him to a new contract

We made him a first time HC

and that was nick's fault, right?

Beat the Zone…held it for Smitty to clear the underneath defender…then threw up the seem to hit it before the deep S.

You could find grey areas that are debatable. What you can’t do is just falsely identify routes.

5 years ago LOL. How did he do the first year with what he inherited?

playoffs every season. two sb appearances. one lombardi.

and yet, hated by you in an effort to coddle the qb.

Clearly the others were guided by Siri, the winningest coach in franchise history

Winningiest why? Because he was going to be fired he was doing so bad and over his head with everything. 2-5 went on a winning streak as soon as he got out of the way. You credit Siri with that…some how

true, so why do you keep doing it?

so, it was his fault the team started off bad, but he had nothing to do with the turn around?

again, playoffs every year. 2 sb trips and one parade.

such a horrible coach. 🤣

So we went on a winning streak after Siri was abysmal. You credit Siri for…how I have no idea how you could reason doing so. He literally proved to be the main obstacle holding us back. He gets out of the way…we flourish.

I believe letting Becton walk was an error

Why is being a good play callers job your only judge of being a good HC…. More to being a HC than just calling plays….
