If the Eagles win the SB this season and Hurts is the SB MVP for a second time, what does that make his trade value for a QB needy team? 3 First Rounders?

Iowa/Oregon will have alot of possible draftees to watch if anyone is interested. Coming on in 5 mins. The TE Sadiq is one of those and Dunker the T/G from Iowa

Anyone thinking Alexander will be the starter at CB2 Mon night?

Parsons is second in the NFL with 44 pressures and has a pressure rate of 18%.

Of the 40 career interceptions that Hurts has thrown, 13 have been to safeties

@mattwill Eagles 34, Packers 23

Jihaad Campbell INT

Released Antwuan Powell Ryland again from PS…bummer. This is the guy I feel is totally worth developing.

DeJean is giving up 60 percent completion rate when targeted

Dunker(ROT-Iowa) looks like the real deal. Did very well vs a tough Oregon team even if he would be "reduced" to ROG but see no reason with a year in Stoutland U he could not play at T

I love the ND WR Malachi Fields. I still like Wright at TE for us(under the radar) for less draft capital(at the moment). His teammate Hasz is on the radar but finding Wright anywhere is a bit of a task(senior so he should be listed) Wright is going to be a very good TE somewhere. He already has the blocking skills we like

So FWIW which at this point is zero and will remain at zero through the draft(lol). I have 2 round 1's picked out, Colton Hood at CB(Tenn) and Dunker at ROT(Iowa). Then my 2 pick is Romello Height at edge(but he may be gone by the time we pick in round 2 although Howie could use picks to move up) Our 2 round 3 picks I have Jake Slaughter-C(OG) - FL and Daequon Wright- TE- ole miss. But if you twisted my arm just a little,I would have NP taking Malachi Fields the WR from ND.

IDK that Hurts is going anywhere. I could see McKee being traded although I love the kid(man) if McCord steps in to the #2. For what price IDK. Due to the cap hit that would cause(Hurts) I doubt that is even being considered right now. Besides, the fans would go ballistic

Glady would have cough up one of our 3's for him https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25286834-trey-hendrickson-trade-offers-reportedly-didnt-include-more-4th-round-draft-pick but I suspect we were one of the teams offering a 4th

The deadline has already passed? Could be a nice FA pick up

The fans would indeed go ballistic, but neither Lurie nor Roseman make decisions based on the fans.

Now with respect to the Cap hit, below are the 2026 and 2027 Cap hit pages from Spotrac. $45 million of Dead Cap in a 2027 trade and $65 million in a 2026 trade. However, as we saw in the Phillips trade the Cap hit amount can be negotiated, with one or the other of the teams agreeing to assume more than the standard Cap hit amount. I can easily see Howie negotiating a trade in 2026 where the acquiring team picks up $20 million of the $65 million so that the net Eagles hit in 2026 terms is the same as it would be in 2027 terms.

In another thread the projections have been four 1st Round picks and even five 1st Round picks as the likely offers.

But why would you fix what isn't broken? To what end would you do this? Why not just draft a QB in round 1 when the time comes? Or maybe McKee takes over in time. Or McCord or someone else we draft. Let's recall Hurts was a round 2 pick

I'm a lager guy but used to go to Oktoberfest in FL at the German- American club because they had Dunkel dark on draft. It came in a boot you wore around your neck

It would be cool if they would do this with an Eagles logo

I'm not advocating for or against. Simply detailing what the market parameters are.

With that said, there is one hypothetical scenario that Wharton MBAs would find intriguing to contemplate from an asset maximization perspective. That scenario exists if the Eagles front office believes they have two franchise QBs, Hurts and McKee. In that hypothetical reality, the four 1st Round picks they get from a trade of Hurts is significantly more assets than the one 1st Round pick they get from a trade of McKee. In addition the annual Cap cost for McKee is significantly less than the annual Cap cost for Hurts. Finally, the Dead Cap associated with a Hurts trade is significantly more then the Dead Cap (currently $0) associated with McKee. The Whartonites would put those parameters into a value maximization program and see what is spit out. In some ways it is remarkably similar to the situation they had with Wentz prior to trading him to the Colts.

That is a dispassionate answer to your question.

Up to 4 now? Who in the world would give up those assets?
