Didn't realize we hired Fautanus' OC and OL coach. I mean I know we hired them, just didn't register in my  pea brain

Just sounds like he's a G in the NFL.

"He comes from a good program and he’s a really hard-nosed player who can take coaching. Love the makeup.”- NFC national scout

Fashanu is a homer, can't rule him out either

Except he is an OT

Guard is where many draft experts think Fautanu will ultimately end up in the NFL, and it seems to be the most likely spot he'd fit with the Seahawks. However, Fautanu played left tackle for the Huskies, and he ultimately views himself as a tackle.

Believe this statement kind of supports both our viewpoints.

Vikings in a messed up position. They do have 2 firsts, no QB and Justin Jefferson wants paid but isn't about to consider anything until he knows who the QB is. Doubt they'll get any of the top 3 QB's.

Howard Eskin says we're working on a new contract for AJ

Is this good news? I’ll wait until something is announced to compare. Is he upset about his pay…or is this an open up cap room move pushing things back on g future cap hits?

Lot of rumors that Vikings are interested in moving up for JJ out of Michigan.

They have same Darnold who is also only 26 that could be a nice bridge QB. Have to wonder if Darnold could have a breakout year though as well Vikings would easily be the best team he started for in his NFL career.

I don't see Fuega on here. IMO he would be the perfect 2 fer if we move up,but odds are if he's not on this list he is out of the picture. I like that Mahogany kid also if we have to choose later

Him and I like the kid Mason McCormick. Of course being that I like him he’ll most likely become the cowboys new C. LOL kind of

Yeah, like I said, G wouldn't be my choice unless they can eventually take over RT when Lane goes. Great OT's are just more valuable and harder to find. If we're going to expend a lot of draft capital to move up I'd prefer a real game changer if it's a G so be it, just don't think it's the best move.

Considering Brown is set to be 26m against the cap next year then 41m the year after…. It’s likely a deal to make both sides happy lower the cap hit on our end we’ll also giving Brown more money in guarantees

AJ has no more guaranteed $ after this yr, good time to extend him, esp before CeeDee or Jefferson

I mean the plan would likely to be he will replace Lane at RT but how many years until that happens?
If we draft the kid and he is playing RG like Nelson or Martin would we still want to move him in 2-3(maybe more years) when Lane decides to retire? Or would we just look to draft a new T anyway

AJ signed thru 28 w/ the last 2 yrs voided but has no guaranteed money after this yr

Doing this also ensures whomever loses the RG start would also be a very good BU. This, however, doesn't address if Lane goes down, but I suspect we find another OT in the draft somewhere or our round 2 selection is someone who can also fill in at T if it became necessary. Latu is just a madman who will give it his all every play. He lives for the moment because he has to(read what he went through), So, my official pick is going to be Latu. I am now on the record

Latu scares me with his neck infusion. The fact he got cleared by zero credibility Chip Kelly doesn’t help. Chip would throw his mom in on a goaline play. But would have to believe if we selected him he checked out on a very thorough medical exam. Still that is just a scary injury to ever play football on again. Trading up in the first for such a high risk seems really huge gamble.

Draftek has Latu at 12. That is my call that we move to 12 for him and take a RG in round 2

Very likely scenario

Should be beneficial for us to watch the battle for QB's at the top,who moves and who doesn't.If 5 QB's go at the top,we may not have to move at all

2 years ago? Playing all that time? It's not like he got hurt at the combine. With all the teams checking him out don't you think a read flag would have waved by now????

Believe this statement is one of many OPINIONS and carries no more weight than any other

I believe he’s the top G. But like I posted…he believes he’s a T.

Darnold sucks,he sucks wherever he goes

Jefferson was filmed throwing a 50 yard pass into the goal post…so maybe he’ll do both jobs 😉

Darnold would probably be not terrible in Minnesota. But you can tell by all the talk they are looking hard to get a top draftee. JJ seems very likely. I’m marking it in the book…in pencil.

I'm just looking at who we had in. I really see ZERO OT's that could take over for Lane,so we're looking at G only and IMO round 2 to boot. And while vists are not guarantees,we pick 67% of our guys off that list. So IMO since there are no OT's on that list we should go another direction taking our RG in round 2. it's just logic.

I wouldn’t think we’d do a bunch of moving for Fautanu from Washington. Supposed to be around 22.

From Kempski;

I agree that Seattle is the sweet spot for a trade up. If the Eagles were to get to that spot, at least one of JC Latham, Amarius Mims, Terrion Arnold, or Quinyon Mitchell should be available. In my opinion, those are the four players the Eagles are most likely to make a modest move up for. But also:

• Howie is boys with Seattle GM John Schneider, and they've done their fair share of deals.

• The Seahawks don't have a second-round pick, and the trade chart works out nicely for the following kind of swap:

 Eagles get Seahawks get
 Pick 16 (1000 points) Pick 22 (780 points)
Pick 81 (185 points)   Pick 50 (400 points)
1185 points  1180 points
