Aren't/weren't our G's drafted as C'S? What's wrong with a starting G who can play C if needed? Barton can play either so what's the issue????

I don't think we do anything until the Jets take Bowers and we see who is left. The Jets could shock us and pass him by(they would be foolish but then again we're talking the Jets here LOL)
April 25, 20242 yr Author https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/inside-the-eagles-30-visits-why-it-matters-in-nfl-draft/ar-AA1nBgus We select 67% of our players from this list. Howie has laid contingency plans for getting O line later if we need to do that. I was happy to see the visit from Ainias Smith. He is my slot guy that I have had slotted to us since time began. We had Brenden Rice in,but it's name recognition,he's nowhere as good as dad lol

IMO he would be the perfect 2 fer if we move up,but odds are if he's not on this list he is out of the picture. I like that Mahogany kid also if we have to choose later
April 25, 20242 yr Author Boston College’s Christian Mahogany; Oklahoma’s Tyler Guyton; Michigan’s Zak Zinter; TCU’s Brandon Coleman; Washington’s Troy Fautanu; Notre Dame’s Blake Fisher; Kansas State’s Cooper Beebe; Washington’s Roger Rosengarten If it's O line first, then it;s one of these. They DID look alot at "pure" Guards and OT's that could be G's only. None of these are really top OT's except maybe Fautanu. And so this makes me wonder if they go O line first at all. Alot of these visits are round 2 guys yet we had the top DB prospects in,so maybe Howie shocks us and breaks history. If there was any draft to do it,this is the one
April 25, 20242 yr Author IDK just eyeballing it, looks like we will take a RG in round 2 which is fine. So, just using logic, this makes me think either Latu,Arnold,or DeJean. How far up for these 3 would be the question. Maybe 1 falls in our lap although I find that doubtful

Knowing Howies tendency to avoid DB's until he absolutely has to take one, I'm going to go with Latu. It seems he(Latu) has gotten past his medical issues.

Doing this also ensures whomever loses the RG start would also be a very good BU. This, however, doesn't address if Lane goes down, but I suspect we find another OT in the draft somewhere or our round 2 selection is someone who can also fill in at T if it became necessary. Latu is just a madman who will give it his all every play. He lives for the moment because he has to(read what he went through), So, my official pick is going to be Latu. I am now on the record
April 25, 20242 yr Author https://www.drafttek.com/2024-NFL-Draft-Position-Rankings/Top-College-Defensive-Ends-2024-NFL-Draft.asp According to Draftek 12 is exactly where you'd need to be

Denver gives those picks to NE for pick 3 to take their QB... we get Surtain. There are reports we are talking with Denver.. I highly doubt it's simply to move up to 12 to take an ok or good OL. Draftek has Latu at 12. That is my call that we move to 12 for him and take a RG in round 2
