It’s pretty easy to assume Howie is on the phone it’s one of the pluses of him on the GM he going to turn over every stone to see what’s available.

The question really is if there is a deal available that he sees worth it just saying he was on the phone means little

In his press conference he praised how great Nolan looked when he finally got the opportunity. Basically blasted how the coaches need to play his young draft picks. Came off to me as he believes he made a fantastic choice with Nolan.

That’s just doing the job. Should have a a solid baseline to make decisions with.

We know the cowboys are definitely looking to draft Oline first. So taking one just before them serves that extra purpose of denying them of the top available one left. Strong class so can’t totally cut them off from getting one.

Hoping we don’t get hammered with tampering charges over Saquan. Dang Penn St coach.

But I believe it's the CBs or a particular one that they want this year.   I believe Surtain would have been the pick in 2021 if he was there.   I think they absolutely would take one..just not go crazy in a trade up. 

It's why I don't see them just trading up to a spot before the draft starts.

I think change of this is the main thing.  But I disagree... the Eagles have made a ton of free agent moves to address the secondary over the years.

That seemed the consensus last year when he fell to us at 31.  There were people thinking he was going to go to us at 10.

Not real high on the potential of the top interior Dline options up high in this draft. Really would have to fully understand what Fangio would be looking for first. Don’t see a real high ranked Nose option. You know I value Milton highly. But I really appreciate our interior Dline depth. My boy Ojomo I circled as a very quality sleeper draft pick. Stoked we grabbed him. Think Tuipolotu was a developmental prospect that is ready to pay off in the rotation. Can we get Noah involved? He actually could be a very key depth cog to our Dline. He’s that backup Nose. From what we’ve witnessed of Davis …Noah could be our second half of the season Nose.

What if we do...and already traded all the picks to Chicago....and then both CBs go before 9?  Then we trade up all those picks for a WR or TE or OT?   Get really squeezed??   

It's why you never rush like the Saints did 2 years ago.
