Maybe wrong, but IMO BVS could make a nice TE2 if we'd work with him. We're already using Geodert as a FB(TD1). BVS has the build for a TE2 IMO

It doesn’t effect anything lol the Eagles rarely ever just cut or waive injured player…. What makes them a well liked organization they do tend to take care of players…. BVS is on IR not using a roster spot

He will be rostered when he's healthy,so of course it will affect the roster

Why? We can easily cut him when he is healthy in the offseason moving him now effects Nothing…. We also have a 90 man roster to fill out so it’s is highly likely we will bring him back to compete just like we will likely bring back Elliott but he needs to compete for his job next offseason

Sure,but why keep a guy around if you have no plans to use him later??? I'm well aware it doesn't affect the roster NOW,but it's pointless to keep him around if you are planning to cut him anyhow. What other FB will compete with him for the FB job?

Because we going to need bodies to fill out our roster again he will likely compete for a job but I think he is far from a lock like he was this year

Once again there is no competition at FB. I think we had some designed plays for him. It's his job,there is no competition for it unless we draft another FB

In my mind if you are even going to keep a FB on the roster…part of that job is being super durable.

Latu seems like legitimate competition at FB or in that similar role while also giving us a 3rd TE option and that doesn’t count for if we add anyone else in the offseason or if we even look to use a FB moving forward so many variables

We had designs for a FB this season. Believe that’s been a factor with the break through for Goedert. He benefitted with the forced adjustment.
