I don’t think so.So the offense would have to "trend the right way", but we lose the same games we won the same way last year with the offense struggling? Isn't that why Patullo was fired?? And you'd need to pin all those losses directly on Siri. If we dropped off from the win total this year to 8-9,yet Siri is the same HC in both circumstances how could that be his fault? Now you add to THAT, that we could be losing players from this season replacing them with rooks or FA's and once again you'd need to pin the downturn directly on Siri to have Mannion replace him. I'm sure that is possible, about as possible as me hitting the lottery twice in a row. A pretty big reach. Only way I see Mannion replacing Siri is if Siri retired or Mannion and Fangio teamed up to bad mouth Siri to Lurie. If the team does well,then I suppose Mannion gets poached too

IDK, I think we want a TE who could play 3 downs, although it's a weak class for that. Teaching blocking has gone by the wayside in college mostly, even the top TE's are only shaky at blocking skills. May be why the nearly extinct FB position is having a reprieve. I have looked at alot of TE's thus far, most are projects that need individual coaching, even the top ones. I'm looking at a guy like Royer who can be taken in a later round who from what I have read are improving blocking every year. Like Nowakowski from Indiana also, but none are ready to replace Goedert. Max Klare from OSU probably is the closest fit, still he needs blocking work. So I will make my guesses but I don't get the insider info the team gets. Will be watching this group closely at the combine for signs of significant/superior blocking skills although I'm not holding my breath. I thought last years class was weak also,but a few have proven me wrong
February 1Feb 1 Author Someone(forgot who) posted the G from PSU Ioane at 23. He's been growing on me. He would be a guy who could stick for a decade. The weird thing I see is there are 4 positions of need right where we pick. G,OT,CB, EDGE. Any one of them would be a welcome addition. Ioane, Proctor, Terrell, Parker. You can run mocks with any of these taken at 23(and I have trust me LOL)

February 1Feb 1 Author Does everyone else see those 4 as the top draft candidates? I suppose you could add TE in there or if we got Becton back and replaced G with TE and took a G later. So many ways we can go here, like Does AJ get traded, and for WHAT maybe a 2 and a 3 pick?(or similar). I don't see AJ pulling in a round 1 pick. Anxious to see who we extend. Thoughts?
