March 13Mar 13 Author Dude blocks 2 guys. probably can't in the pros, but he's solid and he's played at both G spots https://youtu.be/d5tLXvyarRo

Looks like a solid playerLook at Dametrious Crownover RT I like this kid at G if he can play at the 335 he did at Texas A&M very raw but as an interior player I think he will be a lot better in pass protection. Player InfoDametrious CrownoverOTTexas A&MHeight: 6 - 7 |Weight: 319 lbs |RAS: N/ADametrious Crownover has the tools to win the allure of an NFL team in the first two rounds, and he's quickly trending up on the operational side. The 6'7", 335-pound blocker was originally a tight end recruit -- if you can believe it. He played two ways between TE and defensive end in high school, before being molded into a starting offensive tackle in College Station. He first became a full-time starter in 2024, and he never relinquished the right tackle job after that. At his size, with over 35" arms, Crownover is truly an overwhelming physical specimen, with the powerful explosion and force potential to plow defenders out of gaps. But beyond his run game utility, he's visibly grown as a pass protector. He has a clean pass set, good patience, and strong anchor footwork, and he seems destined to eventually start on the NFL stage. At his size, natural deficiencies in leverage acquisition and knee bend limit Crownover's situational malleability at times, but he nevertheless presents compelling upside for teams that value superlative size and power at OT.

March 13Mar 13 Apparently the Rams and Broncos have interest in AJ. If we are aiming for 2027 picks makes sense I guess the Rams have interest. 2027 draft class is looking to be loaded makes a ton of sense for Howie also to want to load up for that draft. Also helps the cap hit on AJ if we wait till after June 1st

March 13Mar 13 With the way we have been attacking edge this offseason or at least trying too wouldn’t shock me if we go edge in round 1 this year… was thinking OL but going edge they should be in the rotation and could at least have some type of impact.

QB maybe next year
March 13Mar 13 Sounding like we might be looking at Michael Carter II as competition at S…. He did play safety in college before being moved to nickel CB by the jets
March 13Mar 13 Saying AJ won’t be traded at this time talks might pick up again after June 1st…. So no extra draft picks for 2026 from AJ for the mock drafters
March 13Mar 13 Sounding like Geodart will be back next season as well both sides have decided to push back his void year deadline to Monday now. Already pushed it back once to today.Sounds like they are just trying to get a contract that works for both sides.

Why I said before we need 5 round 2 picks LOL. If we don't add Lanes replacement in this draft it would be very surprising from a "Howie" standpoint. He filled out the secondary that year because the trenches were pretty well set. Looks like CB is fixed at least for this year

So no extra draft picks for 2026 from AJ for the mock draftersIDK that he leaves post June either then, because as the draft is already past, you are scrambling around for another FA WR that you're going to have to pay big bucks out to, which defeats the purpose. IDK any top flight WR's close to AJ that can be had for much less than you are paying AJ. besides it will technically be a "contract year" for AJ if he still wants out after 2026. Once again this whole shebang hinges on Hurts and the new OC

I suppose we add a cheap vet BU. Kicks the need for CB2 down the road a year.. Getting Stowers will be tricky, probably need a move up in 2. but I just don't see Howie putting off an OT first. Been kicking that can down the road too long. I like Singleton the RB from PSU to replace Ship who has shown me nothing. In the above mock I wouldn't be mad if we took another WR or another edge after round 3. Lots of moving part this year. Depends who pounds the table the hardest Mannion or Fangio. I suspect Mannion wins that battle since it's Vic's last year anyhow. I think Howie got Woolen and that could be one of the reasons. Howie very high intellect dude. Keeping Woolen, DeJean and Q intact as a unit is another matter

Could be a bid war for him though. I think he fits us better than Sadiq anyway
March 13Mar 13 Author OT-today not a good day. "Pain let's you know you're still alive" I must really be living it up LOL

Considering reports said it was a 1st and 3rd we turned down from NE. My guess we want a minimum of a 1st and 2nd rounder in 2027 with a player( or a conditional pick in 2028).WR room takes a hit but you adding a lot of value for the future.
March 13Mar 13 If 2027 draft class is as strong and deep as some early reports I’ve heard stocking up on picks for that year would make a ton of sense.Especially if we opt not to extend Hurts and trade him next offseason as well…. Will be in the market for a new QB

Just comes down to what the new OC prefers.Stowers- 6’4 240 would have a more natural role year 1 if we bring back Geodart being that receiving TE in the 2/3 TE sets not really that inline guy.Roush- 6’6 270 the plug and play inline TE could even allow us to free up Geodart more to be a receiver especially considering Geodarts blocking was noticeably worse last year.

I want him to stay as a test for Hurts, not AJ. it's put up or shut up for him now. Another side deal and Hurts is done
