If he goes, it gives Hurts an excuse. I want him to stay as a test for Hurts, not AJ. it's put up or shut up for him now. Another side deal and Hurts is done

If he goes... it's because of Hurts. So it puts more pressure on Hurts.

The Patullo excuse is out the window...so why would he want out... Hurts.

You choose Hurts over AJ...then Hurts has to deliver

Yeah,in a bit of a bind here. At least this year. If AJ goes after June we really have nobody to replace him. Draft is in the rear view mirror. I assume we will draft a WR at some point, so my choice later covers that a little. Lance is a big possession guy,but he's plenty fast. If AJ stays,he can get work in the slot with Cooper for now. If AJ goes he would be thrown into the fire outside, but at least we'd have someone. Rookies come out much more NFL ready now. Hurts needs to earn his pay. If he is alienating his players and taking it easy, he's no leader. Smitty and AJ are 2 different personalities and you can't treat them alike. Hurts being carried on offense is not a good look

If 2027 draft class is as strong and deep as some early reports I’ve heard stocking up on picks for that year would make a ton of sense.

Especially if we opt not to extend Hurts and trade him next offseason as well…. Will be in the market for a new QB

Could actually be a reason to trade AJ. Hurts has to perform without him(maybe Goedert too although Howie is trying to retain him). If we go .500 we get a higher pick in 2027 and there are a few nice QB's in that draft. So decently high pick of our own coupled with an added 1 for the AJ trade gives us a shot at a top QB like we did with Wentz. All new staff is going to have growing pains. Interesting stuff

You are assuming too much. Let's see what happens. Maybe a WR is part of the deal? Who knows. I wouldn’t worry about that.

The simple thing is AJ would leave due to Hurts. So Hurts would need to show he is an elite QB that can win without an AJ.

Like how he did his first year as a starter?

Which good team did they beat in 2021?

How was his passing?

What was the " standard" compared to now?

Was Hurts supposed to be top 15 QB like a lot of people think he is now?

What is the standard for you now that you think he is elite and the team is in a SB window?

If without AJ he is OK...and the team slips with it's record and offense..then the person to blame for losing AJ and taking the step back is most likely going to be replaced.

So Howell signed with Dullaz meaning McKee should be here another year. If this team falters will be interesting to see if he gets some playing time with the 1's and if we extend his contract

Are we in the SB window?

Howie has been firm on his asking price for AJ I’d image it will just come down to if a team is willing to offer that amount. Considering reports said it was a 1st and 3rd we turned down from NE.

My guess we want a minimum of a 1st and 2nd rounder in 2027 with a player( or a conditional pick in 2028).

WR room takes a hit but you adding a lot of value for the future.

That’s the firm price to eat all that money this season. Kind of sucks because f we don’t get picks this draft though.

Picks next draft more important

What is the goal again? Not what you think it is…tell you that. Completely lined up for the two seed. What else were you trying to accomplish on the regular season? You know…besides stat chasing.

Thought you mentioned something about a SB window. Guess you don’t really believe we are in that after all.

I believe WR Juaun Jennings could be a quality addition

Don't think so with this QB

Here's the stat. Howie is paying top dollar for a 20th ranked QB. The goal is to get your QB to EARN HIS PAYCHECK and that's a HUGE FAIL right now. I'm not going through the same BS yet another time. Howie chases monetary stats whether you like it or not. If Guys aren't playing to the STATS he is paying for, they will find their way out of Philly. A child can understand this. Your ridiculous harping and droning on and on about the 2 seed DOESN'T matter. Tell me again what difference that would have made? We would have just lost to someone else because the QB lost this team. It will be interesting to see with "full autonomy" if Mannion has the balls to pull Hurts out when he plays like ish. The sell out, side deal, running QB who refuses to run is nowhere NEAR worth 55 million a year. That is a stat Howie cannot ignore and neither can you. And you know the fans won't tolerate it, they will boo Hurts off the field(as they should) We are, However, stuck with this lame QB at least in 2026. Mannion is going to be frustrated with Hurts like Moore was. I'm wondering WHY the OC included "full autonomy". That was never blatantly pointed out before. That indicates to me Mannion is free to pull Hurts if it's HURTING the team and if you also notice we let Howell walk with NO McKee trade. Put all this together, if you are capable, and let me know what conclusion you reach because the rest of us already reached that point.. Will McKee be traded? Maybe IDK, but the fact remains, it's put up or get out year for Hurts

Only 2 changes to my unbelievable, super, fantastic, awesome, stellar, fabulous, "Man he nailed it", all pro, hall of fame, totally rad, groovy, I'm FINNA rule, yet as always HUMBLE mock 🤣 I replaced Sutton with Jacas and due to yet another correct read, my RB moved up alot. So in his vacated spot I put Kaedon Black at RB
