One year deal for Goedert.....that must have been the delay. They probably wanted to lock him in a two year deal.

Still can draft a TE.

Yeah I'm drafting Stowers in 2

Every position on this team is still draftable (special teams not included) we might not have a hole right now but we know Howie thinks ahead not just for this year.

Which sites mock draft board are you going off of?

temp_image.pngI could see us doubling up on pass rushers in the draft and I did it early in this mock. Masses was a very productive CB with 5 ints and 13 pbus last year. At 6'1 179 he is light but plays big. Last is my fullback off the future lol Adam Randall is a bigger back at 6'3 240. He runs a 4.5 40, can block, and can catch. If he adds a bit more weight he could be a great fullback.

Rubbing the Rock

Adam Randall is now about the same size as Derrick Henry...

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik confirmed that wide receiver turned running back Adam Randall is an athletic freak.

I have various sites. My mocks are hand done mostly. Consenus site, cross checked with Draftek, then look at scouting reports.highlights, combine and put them all together

Pretty sure we take a WR, maybe 2. Nice class

Goedert 1 more year I'm grabbing Stowers(93's pick) in 2 whatever it takes because he can be our primary TE for 4 years at least. 1 year of good coaching will get him primed to take the reins. Proctor or Lomu should have the talent to take over for Lane. Jacas is a beast. NP with Lawrence if he's the consolation prize. Lance, big possession type, start him in the slot on rotation with Darius Cooper and Wilson, but he can move outside when we are ready. Farmer would be fine sitting a year at RG behind Steen. Black will be a nice RB in time. Tough kid. Payne has talent, needs coached

CYA

That isn’t going to happen. But sticking through these times under Siri have been very trying. Without context seems so ideal. But knowing what all Eagles should understand…that we’ve been really setup to make our best ever dynasty run….being sidetracked by Siri. Losing that SB in 2022 more on Gannon and the league offices lead by Goodell. Still was so much there to have made it happen. But 2023 totally worst collapse of such quality roster by Siri. 2024 Siri actually mostly just held back a much greater team than what we saw on the field most of the regular season. Won the SB….so…got the job done. Even Siri manipulating getting in the way so much still couldn’t derail that squad. I’m not one looking for style points as much as I championships… so Siri gets full credit as good enough. Then 2025 just the most predictable trainwreck Siri responsible for.

If he goes... it's because of Hurts. So it puts more pressure on Hurts.

The Patullo excuse is out the window...so why would he want out... Hurts.

You choose Hurts over AJ...then Hurts has to deliver

What more pressure on Hurts? Doesn’t even make any sense. Rosie was the one that was flailing and failing to get that other piece besides Smitty. Hurts went straight to AJ and recruited him to come in the first place. Wouldn’t have been here otherwise.

AJ didn’t deliver in the playoff game so crucial in the repeat attempt. Was a liability instead. Delibrate tank job to force his trade out.

If there is pressure on Hurts it would be revolving more around unacceptable HC decision making surrounding our best ever franchise QB. Funny part is it was Hurts that saved his job to even make it through that first season at the helm. Impossible! But that’s what Hurts accomplished. Should the pressure be all on Hurts to do the GM job securing our best WR weapon aways as well? Not his job…above and beyond…that’s on top of the so many numerous duties Hurts already performs otherwise.

What Patullo excuse? That he was Passing Game Coordinator this entire time? That Siri ego and power over the O decision promoting Patullo was 100 percent on Siri…not so much Patullo. Had all but one returning starter on O on the SB champion team. Best most attractive OC situation was going to have under Siri. Instead went with the weakest option that could have always been the fallback plan in a much lesser more desperate year and situation. Completely blew it!

What is the goal again? Not what you think it is…tell you that. Completely lined up for the two seed. What else were you trying to accomplish on the regular season? You know…besides stat chasing.

Over and over ask you this same question you delibrately have to avoid because you can’t answer it with any real meaningful point. Over and over you bring up stat chasing. Even the failure of stat accumulation for nothing much more than just style point reasoning…was the fault of Siri weakest O.

Don't think so with this QB

This QB created the SB window for you to even have mentioned it as a thought.

Here's the stat. Howie is paying top dollar for a 20th ranked QB. The goal is to get your QB to EARN HIS PAYCHECK and that's a HUGE FAIL right now. I'm not going through the same BS yet another time. Howie chases monetary stats whether you like it or not. If Guys aren't playing to the STATS he is paying for, they will find their way out of Philly. A child can understand this. Your ridiculous harping and droning on and on about the 2 seed DOESN'T matter. Tell me again what difference that would have made? We would have just lost to someone else because the QB lost this team. It will be interesting to see with "full autonomy" if Mannion has the balls to pull Hurts out when he plays like ish. The sell out, side deal, running QB who refuses to run is nowhere NEAR worth 55 million a year. That is a stat Howie cannot ignore and neither can you. And you know the fans won't tolerate it, they will boo Hurts off the field(as they should) We are, However, stuck with this lame QB at least in 2026. Mannion is going to be frustrated with Hurts like Moore was. I'm wondering WHY the OC included "full autonomy". That was never blatantly pointed out before. That indicates to me Mannion is free to pull Hurts if it's HURTING the team and if you also notice we let Howell walk with NO McKee trade. Put all this together, if you are capable, and let me know what conclusion you reach because the rest of us already reached that point.. Will McKee be traded? Maybe IDK, but the fact remains, it's put up or get out year for Hurts

Flat out wrong! I understand you more concerned with fantasy stat chasing style points. But no way should that be the main goal of anybody actually part of Eagles organization.

Championship….postseason success. That’s the priority.

Let’s see with Steichen he was MVP runner up and best player on the biggest stage field…that had what some argue is the greatest football player ever….along with other HOF potential talent including the arguably best TE ever.

Under Moore won the SB and was SB MVP.

He’s had nothing short of a HOF potential career path so far. Best franchise QB ever!

I’m a fan of McKee as all here know already. But nothing to show he’s that level of option we’d need.

Going to happen. Goedert been doing us a solid. Obviously he will take less to play with Hurts and be an Eagles. Unlike the monster money thrown at AJ who crying about being made a champion even as an Eagles. The delay is the whole running tab dead money hole Rosie is in with Goedert. Lucky he came back!

Be interesting to hear about the stacked cap ramifications involved if Goedert had left AND we had to take the AJ dead money preJune1. 20 mil for Goedert I believe. AJ a lofty number as well. Been talked about a zillion times. Goedert it seems signing was a huge obstacle concerning the AJ trade. Haven’t even seen the contract details with Goedert he just inked. Educated guessing it cleared cap this season pushing it down the road.

You all know my thinking surrounding the cap. (Bigger picture wise at least) I don’t believe in capping the team out along with saddling the future unless it’s an All In season.

So is this an All In season?

Is it an All in season is a difficult question most always.

Large check towards All In season:

Believing Saquan has one more elite season in him.

Fangio possible final season.

Lane last season.

QB1 cap hit not getting smaller any seasons ahead. Most likely going to be considerably more.

Mannion along with so much new staff could be seen on both sides of answering the All In question for 2025. Most reasonable expectation(yeah we know that’s not you FL always expected mastery first real series of first game) is first year developing and geling so many different unrelated coaches going to take time. Bumps in the road are just obvious expectation figuring things all out. That’s on the very optimistic side of believing the whole O coaches are the right capable guys together to even begin with. Optimistically they can pull things together by the end of the season.

Mannion the exact opposite of experienced proven OC option an All In team would traditionally choose. Well discussed amongst fans and Eagles media about getting Dabol…(list whomever your top select potential experienced options were)

Everybody I heard from about the OC position was very specifically and clearly looking for experienced and proven OC hire for the optimal situation under Siri to be All In. Main reasoning being a coach that had his own scheme and playcalling proven experiences. Finally dump Siri O been stuck under entire Hurts run. Mannion far from really believing he has autonomy…or anything close concerning the O. Reaks of adding to Siri O for another season like it always been to me. Clearly Mannion wasn’t the level hire to slow Siri control of the O down. Figure at best Siri gives Mannion the heavy workload over the O in the offseason possibly. Mannion can coach in my opinion at least. As in the teaching portion of the job. He very likely can relate and has a good grasp on the current NFL.

Be nice if we got the extra AJ trade ammo to work with accomplishing this. Will he be there at our second round current selection? I’m trying to dive into this year’s draft class more and more. Would be an excellent selection if so. Worth moving up some for though I’m believing at this moment. Doesn’t have much experience at TE might be just enough for him to last. I’m a fan. Biggest weakness being size. Assume he can add 10 pounds of NFL pro training/lifestyle of muscle…would relieve that concern for me.

All the negatives towards this being an All In season are very numerous.
