Hurts obviously signed to team friendly terms…always was obvious they need to raise the bar much more.

Hurts needs to raise the bar in his play.

This offseason just feels like we are taking the training wheels off FINALLY from Hurts. We are putting him the Mannion O that falls under that Mcvay/Shanahan tree. And Hurts is going to have the opportunity to show he can play in it or will be gone.

No more catering to Hurts with a dumbed down O

It's a remake of the same issues Moore had with him. Hurts can't graduate from college

They want this kid to start as a G. IDK I think he's too big. A serious mass of humanity. Howie loves to draft "forgotten" C's and make them G's. Excellent value

Becton played G for us and that was a large man as well was 6’7 360

So Proctor and a C who maybe needs developmental time? Once Lane retires he moves over and a C will be ready for a G spot next o him. Makes sense. Now to find that C..............

Just a bit rough having your round 1 guy sit. We shall see

Chase Bisontis in the draft is also a great G pick in round 2 if Becton can't be had. With Becton you are talking about a 700+ pound right side with Proctor

Doesn’t bother as much anymore sure like to see our top draft picks start but at the same time if they are good player at great value that has to sit a year I’m ok with it vs forcing a need and the player sucking Ms2, Danny Watkins etc

Christian Darrisaw | NFL Contracts & Salaries | Spotrac.com

Christian Darrisaw signed a 4 year, $104,000,000 contract with the Minnesota Vikings with an average annual salary of $26,000,000.

Could this be the guy…made the move on Oline coach from there.

We’ll give up a first round pick and AJ…for Darrisaw or Jefferson

I'll trade Hurts for either one-straight up

I believe Rosie and Lurie knew better all along with the Patullo promotion. Just wasn’t much they could do countering a SB winning HC that very moment.

do you really think the team owner has no say in hiring and firing?

Kyle Pitts is a free agent he would seem like a good fit in Mannion system that requires a TE. Pitts has been a disappointment for the most part compared to his hype but he is a solid blocker that is very strong receiving threat get him going off play actions and watch out

Also only what 25 can still easily be part of the long term core if we wanted him to be

What does he bring that Goedert doesn't?

Geodart is a free agent also and was noticeably worse as a run blocker last year on top of being what 5-6 years older.
