Is that the Hamityville horror?

And Pitts is a free agent so that's a wash bit i didn't realize he was 31

That’s the point they are both free agents lol I was just looking alternative options at the position and Pitts was available.

Another hire factor besides the age is health Pitts has played 17 games all but 1 season…. Not sure Geodart has ever played an entire season.

Don’t mind Geodart return either but I’m also not a put all my eggs in one basket kind of guy either

It's a little sad that they aren't really teaching college TE's about blocking. Of course they have to, but doesn't seem like that's a college priority

The teaching part is what it is more look at guy that are willing to block even if they might not be the best right now. If they are willing to block though they should Develop in solid/good blockers with NFL coaching

Yeah I said if both played, the lines right side would be 700 pounds plus

Right, not many come out of college NFL ready, so you have to keep new ones coming in, but Howie is doing with TE's what he is doing with CB2, bring in vets and see if any stick

Makes it difficult because even if they are willing, they may not be good at it, so it's tough to make an early investment. Most college TE's come out as big WR's

Didn’t we draft Calc? And Geodart was obviously drafted…. Stoll was here until what last year, year before a UDFA…. Last year felt like the time to get a new TE in the draft but we went a different direction see what happens this year

Of course with the new OC,blocking TE's may fall by the wayside,so who knows?

The top TE from last year is doing well already. If we want a receiving TE those are there. IDK what the plan is going forward

That why we have coaches to develop guys willing blocker part is the key though…. Think for the most part a willing blocker will be at least serviceable and will improve as the year goes on. Can’t expect them to be prime Geodart or Kittle as a blocker but we should not expect that either.

Bowers and Warren great TEs but they are not top tier run blockers either they are a far cry from Kittle

Klare would be my pick if thats the case, but it would take a higher pick investment

I know of one good blocker but he won't be available for a year

Yeah,IDK what the new OC wants from a TE. I guess we will find out if we take a receiving TE in this draft

I’m using Kraft as the example good blocker that excels off the play action… also one of the top receivers in the GB O.

Kittle another good example comes from the same coaching tree

IDK I'm looking at mid late picks, guys like Royer from Cincy, my personal pick Wright from Ole Miss or Nowakowski from Indiana

From what I’ve read on prospect Klare from Ohio St. seems like the best fit seems very similar to Kraft skill set wise.

Norfleet Missouri is intriguing just a lot of questions regarding his weight some have him listed at 260 others say he is like 235.

Tennessee TE is another one that would seem to be a fit that could be had later can’t think of his name at the moment

Houston TE Kozoil is interesting as well seem to have the fundamentals to be a run blocker but obviously wast really asked to be a blocker in the Houston and Ball State Os

Delp is another solid option he obviously isn’t Bowers but physical traits are there along with a willingness to block though needs improvement to be that true 3 down TE

Bunch of Juniors ranked up top of the WRs, right? Is that what you’re seeing also? Top 8.
