Now…Hurts launching deep balls to AJ the entire time he was here…until when? After he had a fallout with Hurts. Then Siri massively pulled back on throwing to AJ for reasons of risk adversity. I was in shock at the time. I mauled Siri for what seemed like such a stupid move. DWD stated he believed AJ being on HOF track. You throw to HOFers repeatedly…not a negative risk…exact opposite. Only risk was predictable O where everybody had an exact breakdown of what route AJ was running presnap based on his location and personnel…so defenders exactly alert to what they were defending did increase the chances for an interception to occur. Yet AJ and Hurts even under the worst circumstances from the coach still were producing at a fantastic rate. Absolutely never would have believed anyone could have done near that well.

So what was the huge risk throwing to DWD HOF track player? I openly admit my bashing of Siri for this move was wrong. Obviously I had no clue about the entire situation back then. It seemed like the dumbest coaching I could imagine. What reason would Siri do that for? Now we know.

Many here believed it wasn’t the dumbest coaching move…but Siri’s brilliance to not throw to AJ. No idea how anybody concluded that. Yet those same people refer to AJ in the highest of terms as a player and back him still as important to keep as an Eagles. How both can exist in one brain?

My belief the entire time being Siri and Patullo were never qualified

Leading to my very accurate predictions and understanding all these years.

How could I have remained so consistent the entire time? How have I been predicting exactly the situation time after time?

Only one here backed even just starting Hurts in 2021. Everybody else here stuck on believing keeping Wentz was the right call. You guys were pissed about that decision…while I stood my ground completely alone.

I was upset and worried about 2023 for our team that was 10-1. Standing alone ..again. Met with complete dismissal. Several posters believing at 10-1 we were the unstoppable best team in the league.

How pissed was I Siri promoted Patullo last season? I understood our O was going to struggle. This was a year ago from today this was already so clear to me.

I was so pissed we retained Siri after the worst Collapse I’ve ever witnessed. Not being a big fan of Moore…I stated my entire optimism was being placed on how far Moore could get our O by the end of the season. At length laid out my thinking. Desired the learning curve to be sped up as much as possible. Take the lumps early acceptable making sure to reach highest ending point.

What do you think we are struggling like the cowboys not signing free agents?

Can I pick your brain on your expectations of how this O situation will play out going forward?

AJ gone…none of that. First is how ready is Mannion?

How well do believe all these unrelated O coaches gel together?

Do you believe Siri will allow time enough for Mannion to grow and develop this O?

I’m not blind to some of Hurts areas of weakness. We pay a guy very well to teach and develop our players as his job. Our QB experiencing college like he did had some obvious negative results, though mostly positive. Ridiculous to expect perfection and mastery out of every player direct from college. Every organization understands this, even if you don’t FL, they hire teams of professionals to do just that. Dieticians, workout coach…,on and on…to the supposedly top guy being HC. It’s expected a player coming into the NFL needs development in so many if not every area. Problem being our HC can’t do it…because he doesn’t know it himself. Strange world where any covet the QB to have such superior football knowledge to the HC. That’s not too mention maturity..oops guess I did. Hurts works his butt off and is dedicated. That’s every single opinion I’ve ever heard. Never heard a single differing. So the obvious flaw is just not teaching the guy and letting him do it.

LMAO what you refuse to see is no matter what OC we bring in here Hurts is so limited he can't learn anything new. besides not learning crap he ties people hands behind them with ell out quitter side deals. No one is going to be able to teach the unteachable

Look at that deep ball. AJ actually slows a step…something I didn’t even notice at the time…because I couldn’t even fathom a player tanking a playoff game. Ball is placed great away from both…that’s right two defenders. Instead of speed up…he takes a deliberate hitch in his step slowing up.

I don't have a home theater sized movie screen

I actually see Mannion as having strong potential. Especially based on widely given respect he’s given league wide. But he isn’t Shanahan. Shannahan whole life learning under his father. Mannion going to attempt a hundred duties for the first time as OC…only just beggining his coaching career at all.

Even optimistically towards Mannion hard to imagine it working out well here. Everybody, player or coach, needs to develop. Get better with experience. That’s just obvious applied across the board to everybody.

Having never run a TC as OC …any expectations he’ll be elite at it?
