They needed 10 yards.. so whatever route had to be " vertical " to the point of 10 yards. They should have never been in that spot on 4th down though

OT-GL to the crew of Artemis. I got to see a few shuttle launches. 4 miles away and the ground shook like an earthquake and this is more powerful than those were. I also got to see something more rare. Our cruise boat had just left port, maybe 5,6 miles out from shore when they shot a shuttle off right over our heads. Really does feel like Siri is safe this season no matter what and Mannion is going to be given a longer leash then previous OCs.

If the offense flops this year feels like the change will be at QB not coaches

to be clear, mainly for @cunninghamtheman's benefit because he's super, duper sensitive about hurts, i'm not a hurts hater, i'd actually consider myself a fan. that said, i see his shortcomings and i'm not afraid to point them out. i'm hopeful mannion can get him in the right mindset to open up to being a more complete qb.

Ditto, but you know, we paid him for his legs, and last year's side deal basically nullified all that big loot. At 55 million a year, I expect to get the entire Ham, not just a few slices. My personal "conspiracy theory" is Mannion was hired to push Hurts and this years performance will decide what we do in 2027. That could also be cause to trade AJ for the round 1 '27 draft pick. Now with 2 round 1 picks in hand can anyone say "Arch Manning"? I knew that you could. Or possibly McKee. We shall see

I feel this to be obvious....except to Ham.

A = if Patullo was the problem, why would AJ apparently still want to be traded? He was frustrated the year before with Moore because the passing game wasn't good then either.

B = they gave Mannion the ability to pick his staff, including OL coach. If Siri was the issue in Lurie/ Howie's minds ...then Stoutland would have had his butt kissed, a raise offered etc.

C = I thought it was obvious going into 2024 season ( when Ham's mind Siri was going to be fired and he thinks they wanted Belichek) Lurie/ Howie at that point took Siri's input.... While Ham denies, the reports were Moore was Siri's first choice as OC

D = Lurie/ Howie like the CEO type head coach, that's why they liked Andy, not for " great O mind " that's why they liked Doug, even though he was a great game day play caller.

And the biggest proof is the bad experience with Chip...who was supposed to be the hire due to all that O mind crap. They prefer a coach like Siri. Player's coach, overseeing everything on the large scale.

Do they like Hurts, sure...do they realize his limitations and flaws ...sure. Do they understand that before investing more in him, that they want to see him evolve...sure.

Do they prefer Hurts evolves...and they don't have to start over....sure.

Every Eagles fan should be like this. For the future of the organization it's the best scenario if Hurts steps up his game and they can keep him to avoid dead money and the unknown of the next QB.

But... he needs to step up, no doubt!

I would rather hang on to AJ and trade Hurts in '27 who should bring a round 1 of it's own. But AJ is looking at some gas running out in a few years
