I actually see Mannion as having strong potential. Especially based on widely given respect he’s given league wide. But he isn’t Shanahan. Shannahan whole life learning under his father. Mannion going to attempt a hundred duties for the first time as OC…only just beggining his coaching career at all.

Even optimistically towards Mannion hard to imagine it working out well here. Everybody, player or coach, needs to develop. Get better with experience. That’s just obvious applied across the board to everybody.

Having never run a TC as OC …any expectations he’ll be elite at it?

Meeting our players for the first time just beggining to learn about them…any reason to expect he understands precisely how to adapt everything to maximize them?

It was precise throw to not be intercepted to AJ who was tanking not even looking after not creating separation. The right play by Hurts. Big Dom caught it. But AJ wasn’t tanking with his three drops that day?

What defender in front of him? Two hit him in both hands. The third he slowed up on delibrately making sure it wasn’t a huge play that would have completely washed away his sabotaging way out.

Why was the Big Dom catch a bad throw? It was exactly where he intended to throw it. It would have been intercepted if thrown in bounds to that player.
