Trading down from 23 so a team wanting Ty Simpson can jump the Browns someone like AZ adding 2nd and 3rd in 26… wouldn’t have a 1st round pick but two extra picks on day 2.

McKee trade still think it’s more likely we trade him during the preseason but Steelers are looking to trade some edge rushers could we deal them McKee for Highsmith/Herbig and a 3rd(or 4th)

Can you tell us what you are responding to or should be take pot shot guesses?

Would the Eagles trade AJ to the pats for a 2nd and Boutte…. Boutte likely be available and he kinda fits in that same category as Wicks young guy that only 23 probably hasn’t hit his ceiling yet final year of his deal.

I’d rather get a 2027 1st for AJ or very least a conditional pick that could become a 1st but looking at other possible scenarios.

Another off the wall trade I’ve seen is trading Hurts to the Jets for both their 1st rounds picks this year. No it not happening I know but its slow.

In the hypothetical I think I’d rather have the higher of the two picks this year and the 2027 1st rounder over both this year. Let’s us give McKee a shot at the starter but still be in a position next year to draft a QB if needed

It’s a close list for sure but really only care about the Howie draft picks since he’s the current GM.

Lane/Fletch/Smith v Hurts/Dickerson/Coop/Ertz?

Lane going to go done as arguably our best OL ever fletch is going to be top 5 DL top 3 DT…. And Smith will likely go down as our best WR All-Time statically if he stays here…. Talent wise he or ably never going to be TO or AJ.

lol Lane Johnson, Devonta Smith, Landon Dickerson and other all missed OTAs last year it’s a voluntary workout didn’t make a big deal about those guys not showing up…. On top of the fact it’s all but known AJ likely being traded why even risk him getting hurt the FO likely doesn’t even want him at OTAs

Yep, but the catch is we would need to re-sign McKee before the year ends. If we did that, the writing is on the wall for Hams boy.

I doubt we would trade Hurts this year, although I suppose anything is possible. We would need to sign McKee right after the end of the season. IDK if there is any lee time? is there like a grace period or does his contract end on the last snap of the year? I never really thought about it before
