Sounds like the dude is tired of empty display cases LOL. Howie filled alot of spots,the fact we were light on draft ,picks is because Howie used them to help fill the gaps that couldn't be filled in the draft. By your own account it was a weak class, so why not get better players in and use those picks up. I mean we filled the WR room which we all knew was depth weak. FIXED(and then some). We got Wollen in, we got Greenard in. IDK what else Howie could have done but regardless, this is my 2026 team and we're not going to be out of the SB window just yet. If the O line can be like 2024 again I'm not counting us out of anything. The D is going to be INTENSE. TBH we could see a WR trade happening later. We have alot of WR's now. Could be overkill but the fact remains the room looks good now in ONE year

Most also had us taking Iheanchor. But Howie is not "most." After seeing this kid play I was wrong to get mad. OT still could be a need,but Bell is no chump. You don't play in the national title game if you are weak. of course they lost to Indiana but it takes alot just to get there. Woolen and Grennard are instant upgrades. I see no weaknesses on D and they all get at least 1 year with Fangio. Going to be a tough D to work against. The O needs to perform now. Let's do it

Vikes gave us a 1st for Bradford because they were supposed to be contender (at least in their minds) and their QB got hurt. I would hope we get a 2027 1st round pick... plus another asset. Then we get to camp and McKee dominates in his first preseason game with the best WR group he has ever had because one would assume the rookies play, and also Hollywood and all the other WRs except for Smith and maybe Wicks. A great first half fresh on the minds of the league and one or two teams not comfortable with their QB situation or an injury occurs? Should be able to get a minimum top half of the 2nd round pick for him.

Lets go into the stacked 2027 draft with two 1sts and two 2nds.

For me, I talk with Buffalo regarding AJ which should make New England up the anti. IMO New England does not have as successful of a season with the tough schedule. Would be a possible pick around 16-20.

Imagine worst case (which is always the idea with pick 32 each round) going into 2027 draft with picks (16, 32, 47 and 64) assuming the trade with Greenard that Howie probably kept the best of the 3rd round picks! But in the event worst case is pick 96, the comp pick for losing Philips is most likely going to be pick 98 again.

He was 29 coming off injury, down season. I wasn’t a huge fan of the move but putting the faith in Vic that he gets the best possible production from him

The Steelers could be getting in trouble for being on the phone with Makei Lemon when they were not on the clock.

Nothing guaranteed but the Eagles could end up collecting extra draft picks from the Steelers for it along with possibly getting picks for this whole Vrabel scandal that still under investigation

So I was reading the Steelers were on the phone with Lemon when the Eagles traded to get ahead of them.

Isn't this against the NFL draft rules? I thought they had to be on the clock before they could contact the player.

To double down on Mannion O we even went out and got two guys in the draft that attack the middle of the field.

I've been reading the grades (which mean nothing) for the Eagles draft

I've noticed that good or bad none have accounted for the Trade.

Eagles got a proven 12 sack guy for a song.

A Safety is a piece that could be argued as a missing one. DeJean staying on the field in base looks with 4 DBs... you would think puts him at S now instead of as an outside CB?

But who knows. His agent makes that decision, not Fangio. Ham told us this last year.

This 3rd round pick from Miami is definitely intriguing.

I agree with Ham, position was the factor, forced like it was back in the later part of the Reid era and beginning part of Howie era.

But... zero sacks playing LT for Miami. I don't watch college but didn't Miami make it to the championship game? That's a lot of quality college football.

Plus wasn’t the OL that everyone raves about playing right tackle opposite our guy?

So while " position " may be " forced" ... dude gave up zero sacks playing LT in a lot of important games/ snaps....while the teammate who was a top prospect played RT. Don't the usual top prospects play LT in college? You would think our guy has some good qualities to keep the LT spot and not give up a sack for a team playing the best competition and the most games in college?

If anything... it does help the culture to have guys in who have individual and team success in college.
