Not when you sign 50 mil contract…then you say..”I’m worth 50 mil”. They don’t refer to annual salary. That’s guaranteed money. Worth that the moment pen inks paper.

But sure guys sign bogus contracts with tons of money they’ll never see. He can say I get paid such and such a year….but is he really? You of all people know that’s completely bogus!

Superstars refer to annual salary ..not total worth? I’ve never heard a rock star state he makes ten million per year…got 50 mil then fell off the map the next four years. He’s a ten mil rock star…never….guaranteed money. What’s in the bank?

I wouldn’t have any real clue to be honest. Be pretty cool if he did fantastic. But gotta have competition. Believe Elliott situation so unlikely to unfold like it did if challenged. Short version: Elliott will be better as a result. Which works just fine for us. Elliott just needs to tighten up a notch….that dang extra point miss against the Niners was completely game changing. We totally were forced into a bad decision resulting from the situation it put us in. Cost us that game.

Sometimes a missed extra point is irrelevant…but that one was absolutely crucial. The fans had to play out exactly like it did for the Niners to beat us. Shannahan knowledge of Fangio scraped together one moment. Saleh outcoached Patullo/Siri. I mean…great example of whatever personnel….fifth string LB not being exposed and targeted because the O mind of the Eagles just can’t do any of that. Was Saleh brilliant? He did coach an outstanding game. Way outgunned. But….it didn’t take brilliance to do that to Siri’s O. Predictable…coaches qualified know how to counter predictable plays.

That playoff game disgusted me at all time Eagles levels. We had to screw up all those so many times to beat ourselves. Only chance Niners ever had. Yet still…could and should have won.

Annual NFL contract salary figures are a terrible inaccurate way to assess. Give a guy a third year 40 mil that never ever will happen…you eat that up…instead of actual money a player will receive.

How many millions and millions will the Eagles pay Hurts after this season if they cut him? Annually around 50 mil. Under contract for how many more season?

No way could do anything but stick with Hurts for years…he makes 50 mil per year for several more seasons. Obviously you agree with this statement.

How many drives do you get in a game? Now kill five because of dropped(one drop was AJ on the bomb..when you drop a forty yard pass right there it means more obviously would have been a TD) freaking passes. Add in Fred just quitting his lockdown block so his guy(only possible tackler) shoe string stops Hurts huge run he couldn’t have been touched until inside the ten. Missed extra point forced our decision making hand the way the entire game unfolded.

That playoff loss was a very very bad loss. That’s on Siri. Applaud his win loss record? Or judge harshly being so outcoached losing to such a lesser opponent? I judge last season as very fire-able for Siri.

Two seed lined up. If Hurts threw for six thousand more yards in the regular season what would that have accomplished? Hurts was ready to run come postseason and do whatever it took. So I ask you this exact same question over and over every time. You so pathetically a stat chaser. Exactly what I take pride in Hurts not doing. He doesn’t care about it….which absolutely is very special and unique.

But look…completely understand it works in multiple forms and ways depending. I’m big enough person to just volunteer the truth. I’m nowhere near wrong…but plenty of people refer to the BS numbers as key importance. I’ve done both

What Elon Musk annual salary? Everybody knows how much he’s worth though.

Stowers switched to TE three seasons ago. Now stepping into the NFL arena. He’s not a rookie going to light the world on fire. 300 yards and 2 TDs probably realistic this season. Really really high on him….but not based on year one readiness and production.

Lemon isn’t a rookie going to just dominate. 600 yards and 4 TDs. From the Slot that’s gargantuan shift though.

Packer WR we traded for might not increase hes stats. They were so pass happy. He doesn’t get me real excited. Decent fourth or hopefully third WR option. Looking for endzone action targets for him being crucial if he delivers.

Pretty much just ordinary average personnel talent wise on this Eagles season(O side). Great finally got WR and TE depth.
