July 9Jul 9 Have roadblocks in HC, Passing Game Coordinator and QB coach for Mannion to navigate. These three aren’t loyal to Mannion in any ways yet. When you put any thought into it at all? You realize how much it’s all setup exactly as a circle jerk.

Rosie easily could look to promote the quality O mind to the big HC chair so not to lose him. More and more success Mannion can generate gives him The Leverage! He gets things up and running there really will be no testing his power and control over the Eagles O.

Far from stating that if we ride Mannion’s success to reach the SB that actually will work out well at all for Siri. Mannion has practically no coaching experience under his belt. First time even testing out his personal O scheme. So realistically I’m actually just placing a very low bar at: Mannion proves himself capable by season’s end.
July 9Jul 9 Grizzard is the roadblock that’s nowhere near being even slightly discrete. Whole vibes similar to how Rosie hired Patricia after so reluctantly making Desai DC.

July 9Jul 9 Footwork. Timing. Anticipation. Ball placement. Pocket movement. Rhythm throws. Answers against pressure. Those are the areas offseason quarterback work is designed to attack.

July 9Jul 9 I picked out TE Stowers as such an obvious Eagles choice in the second round. Reason for mentioning this being: I’m obviously very high on this prospect. My opinion about his NFL readiness is counter however. Really believing in him as high ceiling developmental project. Which unfortunately I’m volunteering he’s opposite of college prospect being nearest to turnkey NFL ready.
July 9Jul 9 Realistically considering how very likely it could be Stowers shouldn’t dress on game days.

July 9Jul 9 Been confirmed Steelers discussed trading up for Lemon….while confirmed he was their selection…had Rosie not stolen him from under their noses.
July 12Jul 12 It’s hard to imagine DeJean getting better in Year 3, but that’s the hope. And DeJean is one of a bunch of players who will enter their third seasons playing in Fangio’s defense. That will be beneficial."Being able to play in the same defense, for us this will be our third year now, it seems like there's more and more things you can do each year as you go on and you figure out the ins and outs of the defense and how everybody works together. You can do a lot of different things, which we've been doing some of those things. And I feel like we've meshed well together and we're playing a lot better together as we've gone on throughout the years in this defense.”

Yet here…again….have a player communicating just how huge an advantage being in the same D will be for a third straight season.

July 12Jul 12 Author Been studying up on Cole Payton. Great kid. Has the same desire to learn as DeJean. Alot reference him to Taysom Hill. I understand that, but references to other lefties like Steve Young and Vick. It was a nice move by Howie as far as keeping the QB factory going. Me and 93 both liked Payton. He has many talents. I would not be shocked if we put a few plays in for him if the opportunity fits similar to how Taysom is/was used. He seems to me he could be a better version of Hurts in time. He has the run capability but the bigger thing for me is he has an NFL arm. I'm not going to anoint him as a STUD, but he can burn you with his arm talent. He has alot of learning to do, make no mistake. How fast he picks things up will be important. Kids a sponge and anxious to contribute even if it's only a play designed for him here and there. IMO he could be the complete package for us down the line. He also ran the PRO style offense at NDSU. We have 2 tradables in McKee and Dalton. I really don't want to see him on the PS, so 93's idea of putting Dalton on the PS(or the mystery IR lol) comes to light. We could also carry all 4 on the roster, which would be interesting since we did invest a 7th to grab Dalton. Payton could really become the heir apparent to Hurts. Similar styles but Payton's arm is much better. I think Howie hit another home run with this kid, who could end up being a total steal. Of course that will take time, but he seems like a fast learner who is anxious(hungry like Hurts USED to be) We could see him maybe take a few GL plays near games end if we are up nicely on the scoreboard. Interested to see if/when he hands the ball off if he will turn right(the norm for a RB hand off) or to the left which would be a wrinkle the RB's need to get used to. I like this kid ALOT
