On my numbers through 40, I left off my man Vick at #7. Not sure why I screwed that up.

5 McNabb, but more because I don’t know any other 5s. Same for 1 Hurts.

2?

3?

I don’t watch soccer, never have…maybe some soccer guys.

I stopped watching baseball at the 1982 strike.

Haven’t watched basketball since MJ.

So missing plenty of options in those sports for lots of years

Maybe check some Hockey numbers

Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt…are those the DE starters? Who are the backups? Those two don’t excite me a lot at that position.

They are good; not great.

Campbell takes over for Dean. Can he do it?

Joe, what excites you so much about the defense?

Your first sentence here???? You haven't been following the offseason? The trade and the big contract at DE?

Greenard would be what No Mas is referring to. Never just given straight.

We added a solid vet rotational Edge also…Ebiktie(misspelled)former Penn St guy

Cook, we tried to keep Phillips but he broke the bank in FA. Tried trading for Crosby…Ravens GM lost his mind outbidding us. Tried to get Garrett but Browns evidently chose Verse over Carter(my belief). So Greenard was very clearly the smart move. I was surprised at how cheap we got him. I expected trade compensation was going to take more. Possibly the market was weeded out by the guys we didn’t secure. Not just acquiring Greenard….but inked him to a nice new deal. Much much less than it seemed like Greenard was going to be willing to accept.

I'm really glad these anonymous fools ranked Hurts so low.

If anything will motivate a competitor that will.

Greenard. Yes. Forgot. Didn’t see any Vikings games last year.

Is he Josh Sweat talent? Brandon Graham talent? Somewhere in between? By the way, I think Sweat was average and Graham was good to great. If you tell me he is as good as Graham, I’ll be excited about that. Sweat? Not so much. Need depth at that position, so it’s fine. I just had forgotten the team made that move. Been BUSY with life, work, golf, and play. Haha. I don’t think people give a crap if i post or read anything here. It’s fun when I have time. It’s just not life or death for me.

It was good to hear from you! Been a while, glad you had the time. For now on I EXPECT you to MAKE time! lol First PS game in 3 weeks.

More veteran experience was brought in with the free agency signing of Arnold Ebiketie. Since entering the NFL in 2022 as a second-round pick by Atlanta, Ebiketie has totaled 129 tackles, 16.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and 126 quarterback pressures through 67 appearances. The former Penn State Nittany Lion returns to Pennsylvania for his fifth NFL season.

The Eagles signed another notable edge rusher to a contract just last month, signing A.J. Epenesa. Drafted by the Bills in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Iowa, Epenesa has accumulated 24 sacks, 135 tackles, four interceptions, and five forced fumbles through 91 games over his six years in Buffalo.

This D will be pretty solid. The biggest question for me, even though not huge, is the safety position. In Fangio We Trust!

If everyone it greased up and part of this machine we're going to steamroll someone. I posted an article earlier that since went "unavailable" but was talking about 2 more possible pick ups, 1 was a S

Helps when you’re putting pressure holding the ball offensively in dominating fashion

We successfully Americanized football(soccer). Couldn’t call it four quarters instead of two halves. Couldn’t line it up exactly in the middle of each half. But we installed the ‘Hydration Break.’ Almost always one minute away from splitting each half….in half. Wasn’t real subtle even….we made them play four quarters. Clock still ran up to 90 minutes instead of out of time. Us Americans…had to do it….trust me the whole world very much noticed.

Team was awesome…they put pressure on Argentina most of the game. Kept Messi back cleaning up around his own box way too often instead of working magic on O. I was disappointed. I root for Argentina. Beautiful brand of football I’ve always believed. Wanted Messi to get one more goal to stay atop World Cup all time scoring while going out with back to back Cup victories. Messi is the greatest player of all time! Showcased how fantastic a sport created in soccer. Messi usually among shortest athletes on the pitch. Messi is far from being some Olympic Speedster like Usain Bolt….that usually has to accompany smaller athletes success in other sports. Soccer you don’t have to be the biggest or fastest.
