Ok so they were first team in for the purple division, then there is the orange division. there was another game on after them, then 2 more tomorrow (friday) next game for us is Sat. last game for orange division is also Sat. The winners of purple and orange play sunday for the title. Just electric around here. Lived in cities and in small towns and this is a big deal for us. Saw a local interview and they DO BELIEVE. Kind of weird. The games are on DISH channel 143,but if you turn that on it's something else. I have to speak into the remote mic and say LLWS, then it will show the game even though it's STILL on channel 143. I would understand if it changed channels but it doesn't. I was mad I couldn't watch it, thought maybe we were blacked out since it's in Greenville, but I CAN if I do that. Very weird (but I am a tech dinosaur)

Lane actually at practice..but only did individual drills and not lined up to play. Sorry….but this has me believing his Lisfranc still not right. All kinds of reasons possible with Land not being at TC so far. But to finally show up….but then be limited? After supposedly coming back in the postseason but couldn’t. Hard not to link all this together surrounding his age with career wear and tear.

Why wouldn’t/couldn’t he get involved with real action? Seems very plausible to me that he’s protecting from anything more than very set standard use of his body. Whole different things than playing football. Absolutely babying it….not pushing anything or challenging anything. If injury wasn’t an issue why be limited?

It’s warranting worries and fears over his recovery. Just really believed they were just holding him out playing it safe saving him for the playoffs. He couldn’t suit up then proved obviously things didn’t go as scheduled and there were complications or setbacks. Now….been months….the red flags now surround his career finishing.

Individual drills could just be considered a step up from weight training. Been a long time since this injury occurred to Lane. He’s been missing all of TC so far.

But yeah….sorry…hopefully I’m making a mountain out of a mole hill. I was very optimistic he was being saved and there weren’t complications last season. That was more than disappointing. Lane suits up instead of Fred and no way we find so many ways to accomplish giving that game away to the Niners.

There are limits to even getting dominated by outcoaching. Shannahan didn’t out coach Fangio. Make that clear. But what he did was use all his wisdom and experience to manufacture just the little bit they got. Only thing made the upset ever possible. Took a zillion things going against us just for that Niners team to had any shot to steal that postseason victory. Unfortunately our organization just hand over fist provided them all. Even then…should have still won. Elliott extra point miss differential.

If Lane was just attending family wedding or some substantial training other than Lisfranc recovery complications? They’d have just stated that…not necessarily full detailed…but would have been cleared up to avoid all the hovering grey clouds.

understanding our organization like us live and breath diehards do. Almost just only exact situation they would hide without calming speculative fears is: Lisfranc recovery issues.

Just saying many ways to be vague….but clear up fears. What’s a differing reason to be vague where they can’t shut down worst case scenario fears?

Eagles known to keep things tight to the vest as anybody in the NFL. No signs Lane was having any issues to be concerned about last season. Nobody had a clue Lane wasn’t going to be able to suit up for that Niners game. Not until last possible minute forced to disclose he was Out.

He was expected to ready to suit again two weeks before Niners postseason game. Optimistically I assumed he was just held back just for all out prioritizing postseason. But….its not debatable after him still not being ready by that point that he suffered setbacks. Clearly it either wasn’t repaired correctly….or recovery setbacks occurred. Conclude that based flat out on him being behind expected recovery return schedule from Lysfranc injury.

He’s older…which equates to slower healing process in the human body. So…could deduct maybe that possibly only delaying factor. Talking playoff game attempting to repeat. You suit up and go if at all possible. Totally different than playing things safe in a low importance regular season game.

Two weeks delay in recovery maybe lesser possible severe reasoning…like I suggested just age. But it’s August now!

It’s full on Red Alert situation now! Leaning towards believing best case scenario being he’s going to try and go for it anyway. Last career shot. On a bad foot/ankle….Lane going to try and push through one more season. Thinking being: at 80 percent Lane still effective NFL starter.

Additional POSSIBLE coinciding factor: made a positional reach for Bell. Bell considered by many draft followers as the last athlete among that certain higher tier.

Did Rosie have his top draft plan scenario grabbing a T in the first? Even if it cost trading up? Draft fell totally against that occurring in our favor. So just because Rosie didn’t draft T in the first doesn’t negate that as the plan. I clearly labeled Bell draft choice exactly as positional reach.

Volunteer all surrounding circumstantial evidence….that exactly lines up to be extremely plausibly fitting in so many multiple ways.

I’m a huge believer in Occam’s Razor. Occam’s razor concludes Lane’s elite career is likely over. Still could see him push through on a bad wheel for one more season.
