August 6Aug 6 Another big day for Hurts. He singled out Darius Cooper. Not sure if that’s good or bad for his chances of making the team? Seems like mostly go against Hurts wishes so far in his career here.

August 6Aug 6 Fangio stated he was comfortable with Carter playing in the Slot….could play S if needed.

But yes, he's on the roster. Deadwood Gray?
August 6Aug 6 Sen asked me a while back why I am excited to see the defense.Other than the obvious studs at DT, the studs at CB.... I'm curious about the LB and S spots.Watching the local Comcast show " Birds Huddle" local hall of fame writer, the author of the Eagles encyclopedia...Ray Didinger was the guest along with the usual Barrett Brooks. They were going over how the safety position might actually be pretty deep this year. But the best comment of the night, when talking about the LBs which everyone is excited about Campbell and they are also talking up the depth with Trotter, London and Chance etc.
August 6Aug 6 Reub..." just like under Andy Reid the Eagles have so much linebacker depth"" the days of Casey Matthews and Akeem Jordan are long gone"Lol... comedy gold Reub. That was so frustrating under Reid watching the crap they threw out at LB for years after the quality he had during his initial bronze medal playoff run.
August 6Aug 6 Nice to see Fangio with his history of coaching top LB groups. Such a different mindset than before. LBs in the middle of the defense can impact on every type of play. So important... but I guess it didn't matter for the Dream Team because apparently the idea was we were supposed to start the game with a lead?

They are really high on the kid. The guards though, no experience at backup, but they seem to think this Kendell kid could be a player!

August 6Aug 6 Author Some other teams WR's could go down allowing Howie to trade off some of our lesser guys who won't make the team for some other asset, so it seems that's why we have an abundance. Trade 1-2 for nice young prospects we can bring along with no immediate need

August 6Aug 6 Author According to The Athletic's Brooks Kubena, Johnson revealed that Bell is a good student who works really hard, constantly listens, and isn't a complainer. Johnson added that Bell is mature and his size/movement skills give him plenty of potential."He’s going to be a big problem in this league.”And while Bell isn't expected to play this season, Johnson is clearly high on the rookie tackle.
